Traditions of this season in Holland !

Photobucket

This is a re/postung of the traditions of the christmas season in Holland and so i join in the fun of a white christmas in July!

Last weekend i start putting up decorations and this week my kids will be full of excitement concerning the "St Nicholas" festivity.They make a special present for a class-mate A fun present and write poems for eachotherEvery year he arrive's around the 5th of december ( this year it will be held on there last schoolday coming friday) at there school with a boat and lot of music...Here is a video from my daughters class from last year celebration and arrival of "St Nicholas"
Also some pictures of last year to give an impression of the arrival

This video gives an good view of how it will look like the coming weeks in Holland

This song is an typical  christmas dutch song , what goes along with this video to give an impression of the atmosfere and tradition celebrations in Holland :

You are welcome Jesu, my dear Lord,
You come from very high abd far away.
You are welcome from high up above.
Here on earthly kingdom Thou weren't seen again.
Kyrieleis.

Christe Kyrieleison, let us sing in joy,
With which our songs'll be starting free.
Jesus is born in the Holy Christmas Night,
Of a Virgin pure, in high standings.
Kyrieleis.

The sheppards in the field heard a new song,
They didn't know Jesus was born.
Go in to further streets, and you will find him there;
Bethl'em is the town, were it all happened"
Kyrieleis.

Three holy kings from far a land,
Searched our Lord with their sacrifice.
They gave myrrh, incense and gold
In the honour of the Child, that enholds.
Kyrieleis.

Traditions Of The Country:

To the Dutch, St. Nicholas' Day is the time for the greatest revelry of the Christmas season. Sinterklaas arrives from Spain on the last Saturday of November aboard a steamer named Pakjesboot 12. His grand arrival and subsequent celebration are broadcasted live on national television in the Netherlands and Belgium. He has a long red cape, wears a white bishop's dress and red bishop's hat, and holds a crosier, which is a long gold colored staff with a fancy curled top. He carries a big book that tells whether each child has been good or naughty in the past year.

Because Sinterklaas is so old he needs help which comes in the form of Zwarte Piet, also known as Black Pete. His black skin refers to his job as a chimney sweep and legend has it that naughty children were put in to his bag and taken back to Spain. However today you will find no children in this bag, it only contains candy for nice children and a chimneysweep's broom or roe, which is a bunch of willow branches used to spank the naughty children.

Come December 5th Dutch children eagerly await the arrival of Sinterklaas. Before going to bed they put their shoes next to the fireplace or central heating unit along with a carrot or some hay and a bowl of water for Sinterklaas horse, Amerigo. Upon his arrival, he leaves small gifts and treats, accompanied by a Sinterklaas poem, for them to enjoy.

Christmas decorations in the Netherlands include rustic Christmas décor such as pine and holly boughs, simple lights, and candles. Candy wreaths often decorate trees and small treats may be given with gifts. Stollen Christmas Cakes are like our fruit cake. They are a pastry which can contain a variety of ingredients such as dried fruits, raisins and currants, lemon and orange zest, chopped walnuts, almonds, or hazelnuts and different spices such as cardamom and cinnamon.

December 25 is still a holiday in the Netherlands, but because the chief occasion for gift-giving is Sinterklaas Avond this latter part of the holiday season is generally more spiritual. It involves church services, concerts, and recitals showcasing religious material. This day is a time for family gatherings and delicious meals, including special breakfasts and formal dinners.

FAITH ~ GOD our PROTECTOR ~

Psalm 5
A Prayer for Protection[a]
Listen to my words, O Lord,
and hear my sighs.
2 Listen to my cry for help,
my God and king!
I pray to you, O Lord;
3 you hear my voice in the morning;
at sunrise I offer my prayer
and wait for your answer.
4 You are not a God who is pleased with wrongdoing;
you allow no evil in your presence.
5 You cannot stand the sight of the proud;
you hate all wicked people.
6 You destroy all liars
and despise violent, deceitful people.
7 But because of your great love
I can come into your house;
I can worship in your holy Temple
and bow down to you in reverence.
8 Lord, I have so many enemies!
Lead me to do your will;
make your way plain for me to follow.
9 What my enemies say can never be trusted;
they only want to destroy.
Their words are flattering and smooth,
but full of deadly deceit.
10 Condemn and punish them, O God;
may their own plots cause their ruin.
Drive them out of your presence
because of their many sins
and their rebellion against you.

11 But all who find safety in you will rejoice;
they can always sing for joy.
Protect those who love you;
because of you they are truly happy.
12 You bless those who obey you, Lord;
your love protects them like a shield.

I went to look up the whole psalm after reading the promise of last monday and remember myself praying this psalm over and over last year when we where facing hard times as an family on several fronts.
I heard God speaking to me `Do you remember`??.........`And what did i show you yesterday in the sky also.....just in front of you...??`
(picture´s made last sunday the 17th of July in the afternoon by my son )

Genesis 9:16

And the rainbow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth."
He made me remember this week to keep on trusting and believe that He has an covenant with me with us as an family to keep on looking around me and see His hand in our life and reJOY´S in HIS protection of LOVE over us!!

Last monday´s vers of God's Promises from the 365Promises.com.

In the NLT & NIV Bible versions of this verse, the psalmist asks God to 'spread His protection over them'. The Amplified Bible says 'make a covering over them'. When I think of this promise, I imagine that Papa God spreads a huge canopy, a nice warm comforting blanket over us that provides warmth, protection and shelter all the days of our life.
The knowledge of a loving God that is brooding over us and protecting us will cause us to trust Him even more and fill us to overflowing with unspeakable joy. I chose this particular photo of cloud cover to remind me that just as the clouds can shield us from the heat of the sun's rays, so God's love covers us and shields us from the harshness that life can bring our way. May each one of us snuggle under the blanket of God's protecting love today and may our hearts be filled with joy knowing that we are safe and secure today and for the rest of our lives.

S.O,S. Wise teachings and Words!

This morning this part of proverbs spoke in an new way to me
The whole chapter is made an intimate conversation by the 1st words already ..MY CHILD......
Our father gave us instructions speaks wisdom into us for our Life to be long and prosperous!

Proverbs 3:1-35

Advice to the Young

1 My child, don't forget what I teach you. Always remember what I tell you to do. 2 My teaching will give you a long and prosperous life. 3 Never let go of loyalty and faithfulness. Tie them around your neck; write them on your heart. 4 If you do this, both God and people will be pleased with you.

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart. Never rely on what you think you know. 6 Remember the LORD in everything you do, and he will show you the right way. 7 Never let yourself think that you are wiser than you are; simply obey the LORD and refuse to do wrong. 8 If you do, it will be like good medicine, healing your wounds and easing your pains. 9 Honor the LORD by making him an offering from the best of all that your land produces. 10 If you do, your barns will be filled with grain, and you will have too much wine to store it all.

11 My child, when the LORD corrects you, pay close attention and take it as a warning. 12 The LORD corrects those he loves, as parents correct a child of whom they are proud. 13 Happy is anyone who becomes wise—who comes to have understanding. 14 There is more profit in it than there is in silver; it is worth more to you than gold. 15 Wisdom is more valuable than jewels; nothing you could want can compare with it. 16 Wisdom offers you long life, as well as wealth and honor. 17 Wisdom can make your life pleasant and lead you safely through it. 18 Those who become wise are happy; wisdom will give them life. 19 The LORD created the earth by his wisdom;

by his knowledge he set the sky in place.

20 His wisdom caused the rivers to flow

and the clouds to give rain to the earth.

21 My child, hold on to your wisdom and insight. Never let them get away from you. 22 They will provide you with life—a pleasant and happy life. 23 You can go safely on your way and never even stumble. 24 You will not be afraid when you go to bed, and you will sleep soundly through the night. 25 You will not have to worry about sudden disasters, such as come on the wicked like a storm. 26 The LORD will keep you safe. He will not let you fall into a trap.

27 Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it. 28 Never tell your neighbors to wait until tomorrow if you can help them now. 29 Don't plan anything that will hurt your neighbors; they live beside you, trusting you. 30 Don't argue with others for no reason when they have never done you any harm. 31 Don't be jealous of violent people or decide to act as they do, 32 because the LORD hates people who do evil, but he takes righteous people into his confidence. 33 The LORD puts a curse on the homes of the wicked, but blesses the homes of the righteous. 34 He has no use for conceited people, but shows favor to those who are humble. 35 Wise people will gain an honorable reputation, but stupid people will only add to their own disgrace.

Yesterday i heard this blessing prayer.
Let we pray this for ourself our house and our children or all children we encounter.

FAITH FEATHER-----PSALM 28 v 9.......

Today is Friday Feature at Peggy's - aMazing Grace,,,Mazes, Messes, Miracles. Friday Feature is very simple: choose one of God's Promises from the 365Promises.com for this week. You can share whatever you want and however you'd like. You don't have to share their photo, but be sure you share the scripture. Share your reflection or just the Promise. Then claim it. Psalm 28:9 KJV
9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance:
feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

Promise #195: I will shepherd My inheritance and carry them forever.

In this Bible verse, David is crying out for God to save His people, bless His inheritance, feed them and lift them up for ever. In the NIV and NLT versions, he cries out for God to be their shepherd and carry them for ever. We know that David was a man after God's own heart. As a boy, David learned a thing or two about the heart of a shepherd. In this Scripture passage, David is acknowledging that God is the ultimate Shepherd who has promised to feed His people and carry them in His arms forever!

In Isaiah 40:11, there is an amazing picture of God as a loving shepherd... 11 He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. (NIV Bible) In Psalm 23, David takes time to describe the many benefits of being shepherded by the living God. Whatever challenges you are facing in your life today, be comforted in knowing that God has promised to shepherd you, bless you, feed you and carry you forever!

Photo by Barry Adams

This Shepherd of mine knows each trial, each snare,
And at just the right moment my Lord will be there,
On His shoulders to carry each burden for me—
Yes, the Lord is my Shepherd, and always shall be.

In his classic book A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23, W. Phillip Keller gives a striking picture of the care and gentleness of a shepherd. In verse 3 when David says, He restores my soul, he uses language every shepherd would understand.

Sheep are built in such a way that if they fall over on their side and then onto their back, it is very difficult for them to get up again. They flail their legs in the air, bleat, and cry. After a few hours on their backs, gas begins to collect in their stomachs, the stomach hardens, the air passage is cut off, and the sheep will eventually suffocate. This is referred to as a cast down position.

When a shepherd restores a cast down sheep, he reassures it, massages its legs to restore circulation, gently turns the sheep over, lifts it up, and holds it so it can regain its equilibrium.

What a picture of what God wants to do for us! When we are on our backs, flailing because of guilt, grief, or grudges, our loving Shepherd reassures us with His grace, lifts us up, and holds us until weve gained our spiritual equilibrium.

WFW ....Jeremiah 31:33.........Promise and FAITH FOCUS!!

Jeremiah 31:33 KJV

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with BERNICE (the house of Israel);

After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in her (their) inward part(s), and write it in her (their) heart(s);

and will be her (their) God, and she (they) shall be my people.

Promise #193: I have put My law within you and have written it on your heart.

In this promise, the Lord tells Israel that a day is coming where He will place His very law in their inward parts and write it on their hearts. No longer will they struggle to walk in God's plan and purpose for them because His plan and purpose will be inside of them.

When Jesus died and was buried and rose from the dead, He brought in a completely new covenant where He exchanged our life for His life. Everything that Jesus is has become ours now. The law of our God has now been written on our hearts because our old life has died and our new life is hid with Christ in God.

Because of Jesus, His God has become our God, and we have become His people. What a glorious promise and the fulfilment of the new convenant that God spoke of in Jeremiah's day. We are not separate from God and His ways. He lives in us and through us by the power of His Holy Spirit. We can rest in this amazing truth. He has written His law on our hearts!

Come join me and everyone else for “Word Filled Wednesday “;

Coming friday i will share another promise from this website that spoke to me as FRIDAY FEATURE of God's PROMISE  for FAITH FOCUS over at AMAZING GRACE ~ Mazes, Messes, Miracles

Ephesians 3

The Message (MSG)

The prayer Paul prayed in this passage speaks volumes to me......
14-19My response is to get down on my knees before the Father, this magnificent Father who parcels out all heaven and earth. I ask him to strengthen you by his Spirit—not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.

20-21God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.
Glory to God in the church!
Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!
Glory down all the generations!
Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!

I´m so THANKFUl  that God touches me early in my youth already with HIS LOVE.......HIS UN/CONDITIONAL LOVE.When He touched you once with HIS AGAPE LOVE. An love you can feel in your soul.....You will always recognize it.....It always attracts....calls.We can leave or walk astray from God ,but when you heard HIS VOICE once and He has spoken  to YOUR soul......HE KEEPS HIS EYE on YOU...and we stay HIS POSSESION......

FAITH FOCUS...............FEARLESS FRIDAY

Today is Friday Feature at Peggy's - aMazing Grace,,,Mazes, Messes, Miracles. Friday Feature is very simple: choose one of God's Promises from the 365Promises.com for this week. Psalm 94:14 KJV

14 For the LORD will not cast off his people,

neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Promise #186: I will not abandon My own inheritance.

My children are my inheritance for life. No matter what they do, they are my kids. While parents aren't always happy with the decisions their children make, that does not change the fact that they are still part of the family. This promise encourages us that the Lord will never reject us because we are His own inheritance. The NLT Bible calls us His 'special possession'.

Sometimes when we relate to God, it is as if we are picking the petals off of a flower, all the while saying "He loves me, He loves me not". Many times our reasoning behind such a concept is that our acceptance is based on what we do in order to stay loved.

I praise God that His love for me is not based on my performance, but rather on the once and for all finished work of Jesus Christ. When I received Christ into my life, I became part of the Father's amazing family! A family that He has promised never to abandon. I would encourage you today to rest in the amazing truth that you are safe and secure in Father's love for you. He will not abandon you or forsake you, because you belong to Him!

FAITH FOCUS........" FRIDAY FEATURE nd FEARLESS FRIDAY"

FAITH FOCUS

Psalm 33:6 10:36 KJV

6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Our God and Father is so big that He created the heavens just by a word! He is so powerful that just a breath from His mouth caused all of the stars to come into being. When you think of this promise, take time to reflect on the bigness of our God!

So many times in the busyness of life, we get caught up in our own struggles and the mountains that we face on a daily basis. When I think of this promise, I gain some much needed perspective. Though the mountains in my life are big, my God is much bigger! Though there are times when I feel overwhelmed by the orphan world system that we live in, I am encouraged to be reminded of the greatest of our God!

He is so powerful, that He simply took a breath and the stars came into being. If that is the case, then I know that He is mighty to save me (Zephaniah 3:17). No matter how insurmountable your circumstances are today, be encouraged that the God who created the heavens and the earth is your Dad. He is for you, not against you. May God help each one of us to rest in the amazing knowledge of His greatness today.

This POWERFUL promise made  me remember another picture i got from an friend on facebook!
It stirred me to be amazed about how much beauty God creates in the earth`around us. And the combination with the ship and the bright sun above made clear to me how HE IS WATCHING OVER HIS CREATION!! We are SAILING LIKE THIS BOAT through our LIFE and HE IS THERE......

Last week Peggy from http://mazmagi.blogspot.com/ introduces an idea to start the weekend with building/up our Faith by reflecting on the weekly Promises from the 365Promises.com and share how they speak to us.She say´s......
* if you think you'd like to make FRIDAY FEATURE a meme that we could share, this is what I would like us to DO! Choose any ONE of the PROMISES of GOD for that week and share it

however you would like. (Suggestions: You can write on the SCRIPTURE or share it with a photo (like WFW) or in a song; any way that you would like to FEATURE that PROMISE of God, perhaps you may like to write how this verse stirs your faith into action or simple write a prayer from that Bible Verse).

Fearless Friday  is the meme i weekly link/up with.......For some weeks i didn´t linkedup due to the kind of blogbreak i am having.......
But this specialday myblogfriends and there request are always on my heart...
So let us hold on to God´s PROMISES TODAY and everyday and send up our prayers fervently to the Lord! And roar like THE LION in this image .......

How do you explain,
How do you describe,
A love that goes from east to west,
And runs and deep as it is wide?
You know all our hopes
Lord, you know all our fears
And words cannot express the love we feel
But we long for You to hear
So listen to our hearts
(oh, Lord, please listen)
Hear our spirits sing
(and hear us sing)
A song of praise that flows
(a simple song of praise)
From those You have redeemed
(from those You have redeemed)
We will use the words we know
To tell You what an awesome God You are
But words are not enough
To tell You of our love
So listen to our hearts
If words could fall like rain
From these lips of mine
And if I had a thousand years
I would still run out of time
So if You listen to my heart
Every beat would say,
Thank You for the Life,
thank You for the Truth,
thank You for the Way.
So listen to our hearts
(oh, Lord, please listen)
Hear our spirits sing
(and hear us sing)
A song of praise that flows

"House On A Rock "

(Picture credit)
June 12 - House On A Rock
Be watchful to hear My Voice and instantly to obey. Obedience is your great sign of faith.  "Why call ye Me Lord, Lord and do not the things that I say" was My word when on earth to the many who followed and heard, but did not do.
I likened the man who heard and did not do to the man who built his house on the sand.  In times of storm and trouble he is overthrown, his house falls.
I likened the man who obeyed Me implicitly to the man who built his house upon a rock.  In times of storm he is steadfast, immovable.
Do not feel that by this I mean only the keeping of My Commandments, even the living My Sermon on the Mount.  I mean more than that to those who know Me intimately.  I mean the following, in all, the Inner Guiding that I give, the little injunctions I speak to each individual soul, the wish I express - and desire to have carried out.

The secure, steadfast, immovable life of My disciples, the Rock Home, is not built at a wish, in a moment, but is laid, stone by stone, foundations, walls, roof, by the acts of obedience, the daily following out of My wishes, the loving doing of My will.
He that heareth these sayings of Mine and doeth them is like unto a man who built his house upon a rock, and the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house and it fell not, for it was founded upon a Rock.

And it is in that Rock-Home, manmade but divinely inspired - the House of Obedience - the truest expression of a disciple's adoration and worship - it is there I come to dwell with My loved one.
Am I not giving you work, hope?  Work for the gray days?  Just little plain bricks of duties done and My Wishes carried out.  All strengthening you and making of your character that steadfast, immovable Christian Character of which My servant Paul spoke and which he urged his followers to have.

Therefore, now amend your ways and your doings,
 and obey the voice of the Lord your God.  Jeremiah 26:13

Yeah, these are old shoes that I've been walking in

I'm wearing weary like it's a second skin

I've been looking for a place to lay my head

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

Yeah, come on
You are a shelter for every misfit soul

We are the four walls and You're the cornerstone

You are, and You're the solid rock that we are built upon

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know that I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

'Cause in You I find my meaning, yeah

And in You I find my beauty

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

Lay me in the house You're building

In the house You're building

Honouring the woman in my Life!

4 Generations  with my great-grandmother,
My grand-mothers sis,with adoptedsis
One of the many trips with my grandparents( loved my grannny's dressing style)
 The woman who formed me in my Life!
My Mum,great-grandmother,great-aunt( sis of my grand-mother),"adopted" sister of my grand-mother and her sister!!

Thinking of them this MOTHERSDAY and i see strong woman and “virtuous woman” ...........Two great things i remember of all of them,is there HANDS and there PRAYERS.......
Hands that laboured hard and extended love to me each in there unique way....And i remember there hands that they folded to pray and those prayers will follow me and will be remembered each of my days!
4 Generations my mum,grand-mother,me and my daughter

I was the"apple of my granny's eye",and the only grand-child living in the same country

The“virtuous woman”  Proverbs 31:10-31. Repeating some of the highlights, the woman that God’s Word describes as PRAISEWORTHY:
• is of noble character
• is fully trustworthy
• is an asset to her husband
• is domestically skilled
• is concerned that her household be well and nutritiously fed
• is diligent, arising before dawn and busy until after dark
• is endowed with a good business sense, even to the point of buying a field and planting a vineyard
• may have her own profitable home-based business
• is a hard worker
• is generous to and aware of the poor and needy
• is wise in preparing her household for the needs of the days to come
• is wise in ensuring that she and her family are well and appropriately clothed
• is in proper relationship to her husband, who is out conducting his business affairs at the city gates
• is a woman of wisdom
• shows dignity and strength
• is a faithful instructor to her children
• is diligent to watch over her household
• is the recipient of blessing and praise from her children and her husband
• is above all a God-fearing, godly woman!

Day 5 Reshaping it All !! ~ " MESS-iah ........"Cloth myself with Jesus"~

Posted  these "RESHAPE area's" i want to work on
" What do i like to reshape"

* My home...outlook esp...get rid of things, repairing a lot...making it ' an home/haven' for everyone.
* My body more energy ..loosing some pounds and getting again some muscles and no "flappy skin" dangling.....on some area's..lol...I have no scale since ages so can't say how much pounds but would be nice to fit in an pants "42" is that 18 or 20 in eng?...
* My relationship with my family:What comes to my mind is working on communicating,listening and speaking eachother 'Love language' The last 2 month's it feels like we are getting in "an rud"....
* Can't come yet on an 4th but i know it will come to mind soon....
TODAY  to be specifically early in the midnight when i woke up...Lately i fall a sleep in the evening wake-up in the midnight and go back to bedin the "wee-hours" of the night......Well there is no harm to do that now because my kids have "SPRING-HOLIDAY"...No need to wake-up early in the morning to go to school
But from tomorrow i need to wake-up early to do 3 days of "early-shift" at my workplace......

So i came on the 4th AREA and in fact the MOST important one i realize how could i forget that!!!
MY RELATIONSHIP with the LORD!!In fact the BASIS of all......  I ask myself different q when i think about my relationship with Him
  • Why it looks like i take it for granted......Why i am not full of Thanks.Praise and Worship spontanousely........??
  • Why it seems like my flesh says......."I am tired..","I can't concentrate"?Whyi get distracted by the kids,by my own thoughts.......
  • Why am i beating myself -up
  • Why i feel un-comfortable to find words to pray....Mostly i spend in silence prayer.....
You know when i started making this list and thinking things over ...I see similarity's in the 2 area's about 'Reshaping my relationships..........."

There is something going on that needs change......
I look the verb "TO RELATE " up it means..........TO CONNECT........!!I realize "THE ROOT" of my
  • dis-satisfaction
  • un-comfortable feeling
  • depressed feeling
  • irritability
  • axiouseness
Is my feeling ....of being disconnected ....."Huh is it TRUE .....?Disconnected with your kids with your hubby with The Lord??"

What an MESS made me remember the video of "Lisa Terkeust" asking what you see in the word "MESSIAH" .............MESS!!!!
He alone can bring CHANGE in my "MESS of FEELINGS" towards  my family members towards God himself......I feel i let all parties down........
But who am I must i fix-it alone......Who do i think,that i can fix it????
JESUS fixed it already on the cross of calvery!!!
  • I need to CALL onto HIM....
  • I need to LOOK-UP to HIM
  • I need to FALL ON MY KNEES and repent
  • I need to PRAISE and WORSHIP HIM and him ALONE
"JESUS...JESUS...JESUS....Lord......My Savior My Redeemer......
I come to you humbly...It feels like i am in "an crowd" right now....Yes Lord in my mind my heart it is like an busy crowd......but my hand my soul is fighting His way to TOUCH the hem of your garment .....Yes lord i need to reach YOU and You alone.Look at me Lord......I want to be washed by YOUR blood and become whiter than snow.....Cloth me again Lord with YOURSELF. Thank You Jesus...I loveYou and honour you....
Be today in all my actions and bless all who i will encounter.
In Your name i pray Amen"

("Touch the Hem of His Garment" Nicole Mullen)

( found this teaching from "Forest Lake Church media ministry Speaker: Dr. Derek Morris "Clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ" )

The video below..The 1st spoke to my heart and the 2 other songs came out of my spirit and i look them up on youtube....Sing a long with me to day..Jesus is so worthy to be praised!!

4th Day "RESHAPING it ALL"

Goodmorning....evening...night....!!

For me it is early morning.
Monday was an day instead of going out with the kids( it's springholiday ) we did "spring cleaning"....We all where exhausted but satisfied....
Yesterday started with "oversleeping" and going to work an hour( yes 1 whole hour) to late......
Coming back home the kids surprised me going on with the cleaning and de-cluttering......Thursday we can put always "junk" on the street to be picked up and around the corner is an container to collect clothes and the organisation will deliver it to 3th world countries....So the "cleaning goal" for this week is getting rid of clothes.....and all we are not using and keeping for keeping sake it looks like.....Along the time i notice we are keeping to much toys,books,piles of magazines and papers and also hubby extends repairing some electric stuff........
Well i think our "SPRING CLEANING" fits under
Missy

I discovered ,it helps to organize and make an habit of things to set an goal in an time-span....
So that is my aim for the time of may an "31 days closer to......"
And for an 2 month + span will be the "Reshaping of All". To be exactly an 65 days span

I reflected on the tips of "day 2"

 Five tips :
  1. Formulate a plan deciding what you want to achieve and how you plan to get there ."I want to achieve an healthy balance spiritually and physically" How.....1st READING and carving time out  daily for reading bible verses and chapters from "Made to Crave"2nd making healthy choices....food wise: 1st changes are already drinking lots of water lesser coffee and normal blacktea switching too herb teas and green tea. Eating more salads and lesser to non red meats......Healty choices about exercise...biking daily joined my daughter to take Zumba lessons at least once an week.....
  2. Be mindful of how much you eat and how much you move. Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full." Was doing this alteady since some weeks now"
  3. If you aren't sure exactly how to stop when you're full. Try taking smaller portions. And after you're done, decide if you're satisfied or physically hungry for more."Good tip.......do it already ,but not consequently..."
  4. Stop drinking calories and start drinking more water if you aren't already. 6-8 glasses is a good rule of thumb." This is happening already........drink lots of herb tea..."
  5. Incorporate wholesome food into your diet, and eliminate junk."Yep try to get the whole family to eat this.......More salad ,more fruits, more beans and grains"
Sharing with you
Some verses and wise words i got to read today by Lysa Terkeust autor of "Made to Crave"

I am a forgiven child of God. (Romans 3:24)

I am a set-free child of God. (Romans 8:1 – 2)

I am an accepted child of God. (1 Corinthians 1:2)

I am a holy child of God. (1 Corinthians 1:30)

I am a made-new child of God. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I am a loved child of God. (Ephesians 1:4)

I am a close child of God. (Ephesians 2:13)

I am a confident child of God. (Ephesians 3:12)

I am a victorious child of God (Romans 8:37)

The 'Challenge q" from 'Reshaping it All"the 3th day was to
 To sit down and list four things that Iwould like to reshape in my life, and then get started on changing them.
" What do i like to reshape"
  • My home...outlook esp...get rid of things, repairing a lot...making it ' an home/haven' for everyone.
  • My body more energy ..loosing some pounds and getting again some muscles and no "flappy skin" dangling.....on some area's..lol...I have no scale since ages so can't say how much pounds but would be nice to fit in an pants "42" is that 18 or 20 in eng?...
  • My relationship with my family:What comes to my mind is working on communicating,listening and speaking eachother 'Love language' The last 2 month's it feels like we are getting in "an rud"....
  • Can't come yet on an 4th but i know it will come to mind soon....

And for TODAY the 4th day
Darlene Schacht, co-author of Reshaping it All written  by Candace Cameron Bure phrased an passage out of the book:

"Starting a diet or buying a new shade of lipstick won't put you on a path to freedom. I might make you feel good on the outside, which is a natural part of your womanhood, but the change must begin with the transformation by the Sprit--the renewing of our minds." Candace Cameron Bure, Reshaping it All, page 8.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~ Romans 12:1-2

Feel free to leave an message that you came over !

QUOTE from LYSA TERKEUST!! (from " A MESS")
I'm convinced there's a reason the first four letters of Messiah spell mess. We need Him. Only the Messiah can take our mess and turn it into a untangled message of hope, forgiveness, and ultimately love.
