Psalm 33:6 10:36 KJV
6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Our God and Father is so big that He created the heavens just by a word! He is so powerful that just a breath from His mouth caused all of the stars to come into being. When you think of this promise, take time to reflect on the bigness of our God!
So many times in the busyness of life, we get caught up in our own struggles and the mountains that we face on a daily basis. When I think of this promise, I gain some much needed perspective. Though the mountains in my life are big, my God is much bigger! Though there are times when I feel overwhelmed by the orphan world system that we live in, I am encouraged to be reminded of the greatest of our God!
He is so powerful, that He simply took a breath and the stars came into being. If that is the case, then I know that He is mighty to save me (Zephaniah 3:17). No matter how insurmountable your circumstances are today, be encouraged that the God who created the heavens and the earth is your Dad. He is for you, not against you. May God help each one of us to rest in the amazing knowledge of His greatness today.

This POWERFUL promise made me remember another picture i got from an friend on facebook!
It stirred me to be amazed about how much beauty God creates in the earth`around us. And the combination with the ship and the bright sun above made clear to me how HE IS WATCHING OVER HIS CREATION!! We are SAILING LIKE THIS BOAT through our LIFE and HE IS THERE......

Oh Bernice, what an awesome devotional post here to come and spend time in our Father's presence at your blog...Thank you dear sister...as Peggy's encouragement, I think about how speaking those promimes (God's Word) truly does not return to Him in vain...That lion's image and that scripture promise underneath it..oh my!!!! God is SO good....may we remember and keep our eyes on Him and not our own struggles..for He IS bigger ..
