~"S.O.S."~Listen To Our Hearts

SOAKING On SON DAY

How do you explain,
How do you describe,
A love that goes from east to west,
And runs and deep as it is wide?
You know all our hopes
Lord, you know all our fears
And words cannot express the love we feel
But we long for You to hear
So listen to our hearts
(oh, Lord, please listen)
Hear our spirits sing
(and hear us sing)
A song of praise that flows
(a simple song of praise)
From those You have redeemed
(from those You have redeemed)
We will use the words we know
To tell You what an awesome God You are
But words are not enough
To tell You of our love
So listen to our hearts
If words could fall like rain
From these lips of mine
And if I had a thousand years
I would still run out of time
So if You listen to my heart
Every beat would say,
Thank You for the Life,
thank You for the Truth,
thank You for the Way.
So listen to our hearts
(oh, Lord, please listen)
Hear our spirits sing
(and hear us sing)
A song of praise that flows
(a simple song of praise)
From those You have redeemed
(from those You have redeemed)
We will use the words we know
To tell You what an awesome God You are
But words are not enough
To tell You of our love
So listen to our hearts

In fact it is early MONDAY MORNING but i still want to compilated an post in honour of FATHERSDAY!
I have some set-backs with loosing my scaned pictures on my pc due to an computer crash and my scan is not connected already for some weeks. But alas......

Last year i posted infact my 1st fathersday post ever
And i love the pictures in that blogpost and remember how fast this year went by an year that brings an smile on my face when i think about my relationship with my earthly Dad

My dad with my kids 7 years ago during our visit to my birthcountry

Relaxed picture of my dad.
I'm blessed to have my dad still.
He is 77 and still very active and enjoys life.
The older i get and being also an parent. I'm understanding and looking at my dad differently.
And the years are "milding "my dad's caracter and mine also...LOL...
God is so Good  so Good and also THE BEST PARENT  for me as for my earthly Dad!
We both grow and learn through GOD's GRACE!

I can't resist also to post an picture of me and my GRANDFATHER ( my mums dad)

(He and granny came to visit fam in Holland for the verry 1st and only time)

God Bless His heart.
I'm missing Him for a lot of years now ( I think it is 15 years)
But He was my CONFIDANT
Counselar
I always felt LOVED especially
for
WHO I AM
Our fathers or father figures get the unique opurtunity to picture our heavenly father or at least point us to HIM and Him ALONE!
And both my DAD and MY GRANDDAD did that for me.

This video "Peggy" shared today for S.OS.
Warms my heart and made me feel
so
THANKFULL
and BLESSED

"House On A Rock "

June 12 - House On A Rock
Be watchful to hear My Voice and instantly to obey. Obedience is your great sign of faith.  "Why call ye Me Lord, Lord and do not the things that I say" was My word when on earth to the many who followed and heard, but did not do.
I likened the man who heard and did not do to the man who built his house on the sand.  In times of storm and trouble he is overthrown, his house falls.
I likened the man who obeyed Me implicitly to the man who built his house upon a rock.  In times of storm he is steadfast, immovable.
Do not feel that by this I mean only the keeping of My Commandments, even the living My Sermon on the Mount.  I mean more than that to those who know Me intimately.  I mean the following, in all, the Inner Guiding that I give, the little injunctions I speak to each individual soul, the wish I express - and desire to have carried out.

The secure, steadfast, immovable life of My disciples, the Rock Home, is not built at a wish, in a moment, but is laid, stone by stone, foundations, walls, roof, by the acts of obedience, the daily following out of My wishes, the loving doing of My will.
He that heareth these sayings of Mine and doeth them is like unto a man who built his house upon a rock, and the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house and it fell not, for it was founded upon a Rock.

And it is in that Rock-Home, manmade but divinely inspired - the House of Obedience - the truest expression of a disciple's adoration and worship - it is there I come to dwell with My loved one.
Am I not giving you work, hope?  Work for the gray days?  Just little plain bricks of duties done and My Wishes carried out.  All strengthening you and making of your character that steadfast, immovable Christian Character of which My servant Paul spoke and which he urged his followers to have.

Therefore, now amend your ways and your doings,
and obey the voice of the Lord your God.  Jeremiah 26:13

Yeah, these are old shoes that I've been walking in

I'm wearing weary like it's a second skin

I've been looking for a place to lay my head

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

Yeah, come on
You are a shelter for every misfit soul

We are the four walls and You're the cornerstone

You are, and You're the solid rock that we are built upon

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know that I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

'Cause in You I find my meaning, yeah

And in You I find my beauty

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

Lay me in the house You're building

In the house You're building

I'm having an kind of "blog-break"since beginning of May.......
Was reflecting on 'building my house" or "The House"my physical and spiritual body..... God is building
I'm working on different facet's in my life since i started reading "Reshaping it All" from Candice Cameron Bure  and Darlene Schacht and "Made to Crave"from Lysa Terkeust....Small changes happenend in my mind....spirit......and i can feel the change in myself....More energetic feeling stronger to say no and make the right choices for my body for my family health wise spiritual wise.......
I'm jotting down my thoughts and think this will give great subjects to blog about the last semester of this year as God is leading!

Have an great pentecostal weekend everyone!
( linking -up this post   at "Amazing Grace Mazzes and Messes" for Simpel/Super sunday and also at "Spiritual Sundays")

Feel free to leave an message that you came over !

QUOTE from LYSA TERKEUST!! (from " A MESS")
I'm convinced there's a reason the first four letters of Messiah spell mess. We need Him. Only the Messiah can take our mess and turn it into a untangled message of hope, forgiveness, and ultimately love.
