So here is the ANNOUNCEMENT I'm passing on for YOU all to take part in...I hope ... just another way to encourage one another!

Great event May 25th-June 1st at Grace Talk with Daveda. "Blogger Appreciation
Week". Here is a brief synopsis of the event from Daveda (May 21)



First
send an invitation to all who blog! ask them to join us. You can copy this post
if you would like and post it on your page, or you can send out special invites
to each of your followers and friends by stopping by their blog and leaving them
a comment. You can leave all the details or just invite them and send them this
way to read this post.

You will title one of your posts from May
25th-June 1st "Blogger Appreciation Week" and in it you will share with the rest
of us information about why you blog, why you like to write, how reading the
blogs of others has touched your heart, what God has done in your life through
blogging, tell us about some of the special people you have met...etc.
Somewhere in this post you may also want to include the titles to one or two
of your favorite posts so that those visiting your blog for the first time can
read them. May 25th is the first official day but I will post mine sooner, as an
example and to make sure I have time to work out any bugs as this is my first
time hosting a special event!

Then, the next step is to visit the other
blogs on the Mr. Linky, and make sure you LEAVE A COMMENT of encouragement! Tell
others how their blogs have touched you and what you liked about their writing,
their life...etc. If you read through other postings and have a comment please
leave ALL comments under the "Blogger Appreciation Post" just name the other
title related to your comment, this way we can all read through, and you will be

SUPER SUNDAY~ ASCENSION SUNDAY ~

Ascension Sunday Seventh Sunday of Easter

It is a Super Sunday isn't it let's praise and thank God for ALL that He has done and is doing for us.
Let's "storm" to His throne with our prayers and songs of praises!

This morning i was contemplating what to write in this SS post.....Through blogging about God and praising Him or looking how He is at work in my life and the comments and to read other blogs. I'm growing closer to Him and in His Love for me...........

LOVE is the basis/ beginning of everyting ..........
The memorizing verse for this week meme at "ThePowerofYourLove" is

And He said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.".....Matthew 22:37-39 (NASB)

We must love in the way He loves us! A sacrificial love......,with all our heart,soul and mind.....that was my "thoughtflow these last days... to love "Sacrificially"
What does that mean to me how it looks practically in relation to me family members......my neighbours...co-workers.....
I will work out my thoughts and post them tomorrow (monday) when we write about the memory verse and link-up overthere..

But to my surprise when i open up my google reader today those are the words what came accross to me....and i don't want to withhold you this devotional and thoughts of a sister at this blog

I'm not very good at serving. I want to be, but I tend to have my own agendas, my own timetable, and being task-oriented, I like to get things done...my things. I'm quite happy to help other people, but it's better if it fits in with my plans for the day or the week.

And yet, as followers of Christ, we're supposed to serve others. And as a leader, I'm supposed to be servant-hearted. But to be honest, it's much easier said than done. I'm still trying to figure out how it all works practically........( to read more head over to her place)
