Amazing Grace through.........2010!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O13nswXrxfY
GRACE Mr. Webster defines grace as "good-will or favor", then adds, "Divine love and protection given to mankind by God". Grace is the unmerited favor of God. Unmerited? Absolutely! We cannot earn it, learn it, buy it, deserve it, but He still imparts His Grace to us, every day.

The  lyrics of a song i intended to post,but can't find it on youtube, with the same title

Emmanuel

by Steve Angrisano

Come, come, Emmanuel!
Son of God, appear.
Heaven and earth, rejoice!
Salvation is drawing near.
Salvation is drawing near.

1. O come, O come, Emmanuel,
And ransom captive Israel,
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear.

2. O come, O Wisdom from on high,
Who ordered all things mightily;
To us the path of knowledge show,
And teach us in her ways to go.

3. O come, O Rod of Jesse’s stem;
From ev’ry foe deliver them
That trust your mighty pow’r to save,
And give them vict’ry o’er the grave.

4. O come, Desire of nations, bind
In one the hearts of humankind;
Make all our sad divisions cease,
And be for us the King of Peace.

Final Refrain
Come, come, Emmanuel!
Son of God, appear.
Heaven and earth, rejoice!
Salvation is drawing near.
Salvation is drawing near. (twice)

Rejoice! Emmanuel

shall come to thee, O Israel. (twice)

As you have loved us, as you have consoled us, as you have empowered us,

O gracious Lord, let our gratitude be shown by our fruit of love and

The second Candle of .." THE WAY".....

The Second Candle (The Candle of the Way)
The second candle shows that Christ is the Way. Humans are lost in sin and Christ is the Light sent into the world to show them the way out of darkness.

I found this beautiful poem and musicvideo last year, let it be our prayer in preperation for Christmas!His birth in our hearts.
———-

Reni (Italian, 1575-1642), Virgin of the Annunciation, Oil on Canvas, Landesmuseum, OldenburgI am not worthy, Master and Lord,
that you should come
beneath the roof of my soul;
Yet, since you in your love for all people
wish to dwell within me,
in boldness I come before you.

You command “Open the gates!”
Gates you alone have forged;
And you will come in
with love toward all, as is your nature.
You will come in and enlighten my dark reasoning.

I believe you will do this,
for you did not send away
the harlot who came to you with tears,
nor cast out the repenting publican,
nor reject the thief
who acknowledged your kingdom.
You did not forsake the repentant persecutor,
the apostle Paul, even as he was.

But all who came to you in repentance,
you counted in the band of your friends;
You, who alone lives in glory forever,
now and unto the endless ages.

— St. John Chrysostom (347-407)

QUOTE from LYSA TERKEUST!! (from " A MESS")
I'm convinced there's a reason the first four letters of Messiah spell mess. We need Him. Only the Messiah can take our mess and turn it into a untangled message of hope, forgiveness, and ultimately love.
