Here is my "Blogger Appreciation Post!"

In a way i "roll" in this blogging myself....Before i was a fervent reader of blogwriters from p31 ministry.That i opened an blog and dare to write is to me the leading of God....He knows that my desire is to grow in His Word. He knows i love to read books and blogs concerning His Word,He knows i need Christian Friends in real life and online to " spur" and direct me to grow in His Word......And He knew i CAN'T STAND IT when i can't figure someting out.......
I opened a blog account to respond in others there blog but last December Edie from Rich Gifts had a give away for a BLOG MAKEOVER and THAT atracted me to join because i wanted to start blogging in a BEAUTIFULL BLOG !!...LOL..So to have more change you had to post about this give away.......I will not tell you how much figuring out it took me to start -up this whole thing.....End of the story was i didn't win. BUT i met some new bloggers and i went on reading and commenting.I discovered meme's and start using that to write blogs........and along the way i saw and see God's hand in all of this

Daveda gave some points to write about and i gave them a thought as an evaluation of exactly 5 month's of blogging!It was also good to reflect on my different blogposts from the last 5 month's...

Why you blog
In a way i notice it is therapeutic for me for my Mind and Spirit to focuss on God and to make a practical dailylink to what i'm learning!
The reading of blogs and receiving comments inspires and encourages. A whole new world opened to me a world of Christian woman who are building up friendships online and encourage eachother to stand strong in The Lord and pray together..

Why you like to write
I don't see myself yet as a writer...LOL....
I always wrote my thoughts on paper before but more to remember things or write down what i'm learning out of the bible or Christian books....
I write also my blogs in my second or third languge so to say.......The language i spoke my whole life is Dutch beside my native language Surinamees.....I come to love english due to meeting my husband...I began to think a lot in english and i discovered that i love the bible story's more when i read it in english.........English christian books helped me a lot also to grow spiritually

How reading the blogs of others has touched your heart
Where must i began.... I read so much heartfelt blogs of woman who are so passionate in SEEKING The Lord and bringing over THE WISDOM they learned......Others are so TRANSPARENT about there DAILY LIFE and STRUGGLES. This touches my heart a lot because this is HOW God intend us to be and share with eachother as Christians.We have all the same way to go in Life : seeking salvation, working on leading a holy Life to be at the end with our Lord and Savior and He saying to us "WELL DONE mY FAITFULL SERVANT"!

What God has done in your life through blogging
God is bringing out of me what He is learning me and want me to put so to say" pen to paper" so i can read it over and over so it will become something of myself AND He shows me how i can be a blessing to others.....

The 1st special person i met is Edie from Rich Gifts she is so creative and passionate for the Lord......and blesses a lot of bloggers with her blogmakeovers and graphics!

The meme's i did since the beginning are THANKFULL THURSDAY hostesses are Sonya from Truth 4 the Journey and Iris from GraceAlone.
Due to Iris her blog break I met LYNN from SpirituallyUnequalMarriage and Laurie from WOMEN TAKING A STAND who are hosting now for her.

Along the way i think when i was linking-up on the WordFilled Wednesdays i met LauraLeeShaw from SelaPausePonderPraise. I soooooooooooooooo love the Graphics she makes on those days to picture out a bibleverse.......And she encouraged bloggers for her....post to write there testimony......I remember as the day of yesterday that i felt the "nudge" to write it and the battle in my mind about this.......So the day i saw the email that she decide to post the story's of 11 writers and i was one of them.....I could not believe it and i think that was a experience i will not forget...I never gave a testimony in my life or even gave it a thought before........A lot happened in real life around that publishing date and i can tell you the enemy was not amused and tried to take my joy away but He failed......!!

Special moments and written blogs in those 5 month's
Is a writing on a wednesday WFW - 1 john 3:1 " He is our Sheperd and we are HIS Sheep" and on SUPER SUNDAY " To be in THE LIGHT of THE LORD ".To see how they are composed and my thoughts with it...I came a long way in those month's with composing blogs...LOL.....I notice the Power in SCRIPTURE ,PICTURE inter twined with music.......
This was my verry 1st blog with scripture and a message but not so apealing yet i find but still powerfull!!

The idea to blog about memories of x-mas i found on the blog of Greg C and writing 7 Christmases was in a way therapeutic for me

The Decision to join in writing New Years Meditations! suggested by Lori ( laurelwreathsreflections) and the writing of it made me realize God has a plan with me blogging and that was the time i committed myself to blog faitfully!

My 1st award for a "Fabulouse blog" was given by Laurie from Supernatural Living that was also a memorable moment....

In the month of March i felt i brought accross in different writings the message the Holy Spirit wanted me to bring. One i remember as "My miror post"~ FACE TO FACE ~ most of the commentors on that day are still following my blog

I read this saying by a sister on 5min for moms about what comments are like..: Yes, comments are the jewels of theblogosphere."
This is so true in a sense....I treasure those comments really like "JEWELS" given by each and every precious sisters!!
Some memorable to me and had an impact on my blogging and where inspiring!

SUPER SUNDAY~ ASCENSION SUNDAY ~

Ascension Sunday Seventh Sunday of Easter

It is a Super Sunday isn't it let's praise and thank God for ALL that He has done and is doing for us.
Let's "storm" to His throne with our prayers and songs of praises!

This morning i was contemplating what to write in this SS post.....Through blogging about God and praising Him or looking how He is at work in my life and the comments and to read other blogs. I'm growing closer to Him and in His Love for me...........

LOVE is the basis/ beginning of everyting ..........
The memorizing verse for this week meme at "ThePowerofYourLove" is

And He said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.".....Matthew 22:37-39 (NASB)

We must love in the way He loves us! A sacrificial love......,with all our heart,soul and mind.....that was my "thoughtflow these last days... to love "Sacrificially"
What does that mean to me how it looks practically in relation to me family members......my neighbours...co-workers.....
I will work out my thoughts and post them tomorrow (monday) when we write about the memory verse and link-up overthere..

I'm not very good at serving. I want to be, but I tend to have my own agendas, my own timetable, and being task-oriented, I like to get things done...my things. I'm quite happy to help other people, but it's better if it fits in with my plans for the day or the week.

And yet, as followers of Christ, we're supposed to serve others. And as a leader, I'm supposed to be servant-hearted. But to be honest, it's much easier said than done. I'm still trying to figure out how it all works practically........( to read more head over to her place)

2 Corinthians 1

The Rescue

3-5All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.
6-7When we suffer for Jesus, it works out for your healing and salvation. If we are treated well, given a helping hand and encouraging word, that also works to your benefit, spurring you on, face forward, unflinching. Your hard times are also our hard times. When we see that you're just as willing to endure the hard times as to enjoy the good times, we know you're going to make it, no doubt about it.

8-11We don't want you in the dark, friends, about how hard it was when all this came down on us in Asia province. It was so bad we didn't think we were going to make it. We felt like we'd been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally—not a bad idea since he's the God who raises the dead! And he did it, rescued us from certain doom. And he'll do it again, rescuing us as many times as we need rescuing. You and your prayers are part of the rescue operation—I don't want you in the dark about that either. I can see your faces even now, lifted in praise for God's deliverance of us, a rescue in which your prayers played such a crucial part.

This friday morning schools are close due to a long-weekend leave. So i experience a quiet morning/day living in an apartmentflat above a school!

I gave Him also my thoughts about Lifes concerns.
Thoughts about our upcoming court case on the 29th of May.

God loves His people....God convet our prayers........God teaches through storms....
God gives peace ...He says LET GO.......BE STILL.......I am the BEGINNING and THE END.........He says in 1 Kings 8:44 (The Message)
44-51 When your people go to war against their enemies at the time and place you send them and they pray to God toward the city you chose and this Temple I've built to honor your Name, Listen from heaven to what they pray and ask for, and do what's right for them.
When they sin against you—and they certainly will; there's no one without sin!—and in anger you turn them over to the enemy and they are taken captive to the enemy's land, whether far or near, but repent in the country of their captivity and pray with changed hearts in their exile, "We've sinned; we've done wrong; we've been most wicked," and turn back to you heart and soul in the land of the enemy who conquered them, and pray to you toward their homeland, the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you chose, and this Temple I have built to the honor of your Name, Listen from your home in heaven to their prayers desperate and devout and do what is best for them.

Praising God in the "Yoruba style"

I just realized while looking at those video's. How meeting my hubby enriched my life to experience the Yoruba Christian way of praising God. I choose last week the translation in the Amplified Bible, to ad more thought to it because it is a verry easy to memorize verse!
[Earnestly] remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (withdrawn from common employment and dedicated to God).

The questions i asked myself after this looking up are

* Do i remember the sabbath seriousely, intentionally...what is my feeling

approuching this day or on the day itself?

* Is it an important day of the week to me,does it feel differently do i make

a special day of it?....

* Do i treat this day as an Holy day...is all my labor ( or most of it) dedicated to

God?

* Is it a day full of worship with my family?

To most of the questions i must confess i said no or sometimes....or depends??!!

Or i don't think it's so bad that i overslept or stay home from church to relax.....

Or it isn't so bad to do on this day all what could not be done during the week......

Do you know what i notice.....extra irritation between family members on free days.....

By installing this day as an sacred Holy day.......

I believe God is after my attitude of the heart approuching this day...

Do i put Him on this day MORE than any other day first....Do i long for to worship and praise Him together with my family and the churchfamily we are a part of??

To meditate on this verse convicted me to put more effort in making this " day of The Lord" the sabbath Holy: to put it aside to make it an special day no matter what........

Next week verse to memorize are you joining me doing it??

I'm struggling with my time since yesterday, that i start working again after 2 full weeks of leave from work.....
And 1st shifts are not my favorite...anyway no complains...

See this dark place ?

Hmmmmm....solemn !

How would it be to live without natural light ?...setting aside the effect on vegetation and for humoring me sake, can we assume a constant supply of food and water ?....What symptoms would one expect to exhibit if one was forced to live without natural light ?....would someone born into that environment adapt ?..would it be terminal ? change in life-span ?

This above was asked on a forum and an interesting discussion was going on...
No matter the discussion went in different directions the conclusion was that "They did not think life could be supported without light" directly or indirectly.

Someone said..."Its not a place that I would want to live though"!
Why this forum member said that is because this would be how the planet would look like....

"The answer I think is yes it is possible to live without natural light providing that substitute artificial lighting is provided. There are many indoor crops grown under artificial conditions and they grow well. Many deep cave animals also survive in complete darkness and now have no eyes as they have adapted to their situation.
The main problem I see is that it would be a very cold planet and with little or no weather patterns. In that situation the supply of fresh water could be a problem as no rain will fall but, the seawater if not frozen could be desalinated."

Reading all this made me think about our bible week verse

JESUS said 2 thousand years ago: "I am the world's Light. No one who follows me stumbles around in the darkness. I provide plenty of light to live in." John 8:12


We human beings are "THE WORLD" are we substituting Jesus ? To LIVE just as we are substituting daylight to grow crops or in office buildings so that employes are not getting depressed from lack of vitamin D ( DAYLIGHT) !! ??
Or do we adapt to LIFE WITHOUT JESUS just as the cave animals.....?Is it worth it to destroy our eyes.....( inner/spiritual eyes) only to adapt to a life without JESUS??
We settle than for a cold( loveless, selfish) planet...........We will never experience how it is to drink "LIVING WATER" Our life will be like a dessert...no rains ( showers of blessing) and if rain fall the water will evaporate or will never be enough for a dryland like this.......Or our life will be frozen and cold !! We will be really stumbling around in those circumstances and will dye eventually!!

I'm praying that we will not and are not adapting nor substituting JESUS but FOLOWING JESUS..........because we want to live in plenty of Light HIS LIGHT !!

1 Corinthians 12:12-26 (The Message)

12-13You can easily enough see how this kind of thing works by looking no further than your own body. Your body has many parts—limbs, organs, cells—but no matter how many parts you can name, you're still one body. It's exactly the same with Christ. By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain—his Spirit—where we all come to drink. The old labels we once used to identify ourselves—labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free—are no longer useful. We need something larger, more comprehensive.

14-18I want you to think about how all this makes you more significant, not less. A body isn't just a single part blown up into something huge. It's all the different-but-similar parts arranged and functioning together. If Foot said, "I'm not elegant like Hand, embellished with rings; I guess I don't belong to this body," would that make it so? If Ear said, "I'm not beautiful like Eye, limpid and expressive; I don't deserve a place on the head," would you want to remove it from the body? If the body was all eye, how could it hear? If all ear, how could it smell? As it is, we see that God has carefully placed each part of the body right where he wanted it.

19-24But I also want you to think about how this keeps your significance from getting blown up into self-importance. For no matter how significant you are, it is only because of what you are a part of. An enormous eye or a gigantic hand wouldn't be a body, but a monster. What we have is one body with many parts, each its proper size and in its proper place. No part is important on its own. Can you imagine Eye telling Hand, "Get lost; I don't need you"? Or, Head telling Foot, "You're fired; your job has been phased out"? As a matter of fact, in practice it works the other way—the "lower" the part, the more basic, and therefore necessary. You can live without an eye, for instance, but not without a stomach. When it's a part of your own body you are concerned with, it makes no difference whether the part is visible or clothed, higher or lower. You give it dignity and honor just as it is, without comparisons. If anything, you have more concern for the lower parts than the higher. If you had to choose, wouldn't you prefer good digestion to full-bodied hair?

25-26The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don't, the parts we see and the parts we don't. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance.
