A- B -C of THE WORD......O.........

Zechariah 10:9-12 (The Message)

Every square foot of land will be marked by homecoming. They'll sail through troubled seas, brush aside brash ocean waves. Roaring rivers will turn to a trickle.Gaudy Assyria will be stripped bare, bully Egypt exposed as a fraud. But my people—oh, I'll make them strong, God-strong! and they'll live my way." God says so

Thankfull thursday ~NATURE ~

I"m so thankfull for the city park in my neighbourhood. In this street i bike daily and than enter this gate who reveals the beauty of nature created by God!

Psalm 104:24 (The Message)

24-30 What a wildly wonderful world, God! You made it all, with Wisdom at your side, made earth overflow with your wonderful creations. Oh, look—the deep, wide sea, brimming with fish past counting, sardines and sharks and salmon. Ships plow those waters, and Leviathan, your pet dragon, romps in them. All the creatures look expectantly to you to give them their meals on time. You come, and they gather around; you open your hand and they eat from it. If you turned your back, they'd die in a minute— Take back your Spirit and they die, revert to original mud; Send out your Spirit and they spring to life— the whole countryside in bloom and blossom.

Psalm 34:7

Gracious God, your promise of deliverance is made clear to us in your mighty
acts. Open us to the new things you will do in our midst. Amen

Psalm 47
A Psalm of the Sons of Korah

1-9 Applause, everyone. Bravo, bravissimo! Shout God-songs at the top of your lungs!
God Most High is stunning,
astride land and ocean.
He crushes hostile people,
puts nations at our feet.
He set us at the head of the line,
prize-winning Jacob, his favorite.
Loud cheers as God climbs the mountain,
a ram's horn blast at the summit.
Sing songs to God, sing out!
Sing to our King, sing praise!
He's Lord over earth,
so sing your best songs to God.
God is Lord of godless nations—
sovereign, he's King of the mountain.
Princes from all over are gathered,
people of Abraham's God.
The powers of earth are God's—
he soars over all.

WEEKLY MEMORY VERSE~ EXODUS 20:8 ~

Join at "thepowerofyourlove" today to read about this bibleverse!

I choose last week the translation in the Amplified Bible, to ad more thought to it because it is a verry easy to memorize verse!
[Earnestly] remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy (withdrawn from common employment and dedicated to God).

I looked the extra depht words up at dictionary.com
Earnestly

1.
serious in intention, purpose, or effort; sincerely zealous:
2.
showing depth and sincerity of feeling
3.
seriously important; demanding or receiving serious attention.
Synonyms
seriously
sincerely
soberly

Holy
1.
specially recognized as or declared sacred by religious use or authority; consecrated
2.
dedicated or devoted to the service of God, the church, or religion
3.
saintly; godly; pious; devout
4.
having a spiritually pure quality
5.
entitled to worship or veneration as or as if sacred
6.
religious: holy rites.
7.
inspiring fear, awe, or grave distress

The questions i asked myself after this looking up are

* Do i remember the sabbath seriousely, intentionally...what is my feeling

approuching this day or on the day itself?

* Is it an important day of the week to me,does it feel differently do i make

a special day of it?....

* Do i treat this day as an Holy day...is all my labor ( or most of it) dedicated to

God?

* Is it a day full of worship with my family?

To most of the questions i must confess i said no or sometimes....or depends??!!

Or i don't think it's so bad that i overslept or stay home from church to relax.....

Or it isn't so bad to do on this day all what could not be done during the week......

Do you know what i notice.....extra irritation between family members on free days.....

By installing this day as an sacred Holy day.......

I believe God is after my attitude of the heart approuching this day...

Do i put Him on this day MORE than any other day first....Do i long for to worship and praise Him together with my family and the churchfamily we are a part of??

To meditate on this verse convicted me to put more effort in making this " day of The Lord" the sabbath Holy: to put it aside to make it an special day no matter what........

Next week verse to memorize are you joining me doing it??

Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' "

A- B -C of THE WORD......N.........

Link -up at Greylikesnuffie
This week lookup in THE WORD is the LETTER
N
Romans 8:38 (New Living Translation)

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,
neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

Thankfull BELATED thursday ~ Wisdom ~

Sonya at Truth4theJourney and Lynn at SpirituallyUnequalMarriage hosting this great TT meme's.

Lynn gave the topic WISDOM,made me remember a great King in the bible " King Solomon"
This verse learned me a lot how God values ( or look at) him!

2 Chronicles 1:11 (The Message)

11-12 God answered Solomon, "This is what has come out of your heart: You didn't grasp for money, wealth, fame, and the doom of your enemies; you didn't even ask for a long life. You asked for wisdom and knowledge so you could govern well my people over whom I've made you king. Because of this, you get what you asked for—wisdom and knowledge. And I'm presenting you the rest as a bonus—money, wealth, and fame beyond anything the kings before or after you had or will have."

  • I'm so Thankfull for God's Word full of Wisdom and Knowledge.
  • That He gives me more than i ever asked for
  • For His Love,Mercy and patience as His Child
  • For His promises given to us for this life and for eternity
  • For His provision concerning different aspects through the whole week

((I keep it to 5 points a rule from"Truth" but i could have given more bc my thank..is FULL to the brim))

Just some hours ago something special was thrown in it by Cascia from Healthy Moms...she feathered me as a "New Follower" for Follow Me Friday!!

A powerful word was given in
1 Timothy 1:15 (The Message)

15-19Here's a word you can take to heart and depend on: Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners. I'm proof—Public Sinner Number One—of someone who could never have made it apart from sheer mercy. And now he shows me off—evidence of his endless patience—to those who are right on the edge of trusting him forever.

Deep honor and bright glory
to the King of All Time—
One God, Immortal, Invisible,
ever and always. Oh, yes! yes Lord you are!

Psalm 65

A David Psalm

1-2 Silence is praise to you, Zion-dwelling God,
And also obedience.
You hear the prayer in it all.

2-8 We all arrive at your doorstep sooner
or later, loaded with guilt,
Our sins too much for us—
but you get rid of them once and for all.
Blessed are the chosen! Blessed the guest
at home in your place!
We expect our fill of good things
in your house, your heavenly manse.
All your salvation wonders
are on display in your trophy room.
Earth-Tamer, Ocean-Pourer,
Mountain-Maker, Hill-Dresser,
Muzzler of sea storm and wave crash,
of mobs in noisy riot—
Far and wide they'll come to a stop,
they'll stare in awe, in wonder.
Dawn and dusk take turns
calling, "Come and worship."
( For a beautiful WFW with this vers)

Proverbs 7

Dressed to Seduce

1-5 Dear friend, do what I tell you; treasure my careful instructions.
Do what I say and you'll live well.
My teaching is as precious as your eyesight—guard it!
Write it out on the back of your hands;
etch it on the chambers of your heart.
Talk to Wisdom as to a sister.
Treat Insight as your companion.
They'll be with you to fend off the Temptress
that smooth-talking, honey-tongued Seductress.

The
following of this proverbs is a good script about a sense-less young man and a seductive woman!

1 Corinthians 14:20-35 (The Message)

To be perfectly frank, I'm getting exasperated with your infantile thinking. How long before you grow up and use your head—your adult head?
Further reading

My tongue will sing of your promise, for all your commandments are right.
Psalm 119:172

We also constantly give thanks to God for this, that when you received the word
of God that you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word but as what
it really is, God's word, which is also at work in you believers. 1
Thessalonians 2:13

God of all truth, take away the unbelief and hypocrisy that lets us hear your
word without allowing it to become part of our innermost being. May we give
thanks for the leading of your Spirit. Amen.

Psalm 64
Proverbs 6; 1 Corinthians 14:6-19

You shall love the alien as yourself. Leviticus 19:34

May the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all. 1
Thessalonians 3:12

God of boundless love, you have shown us how to care for others, regardless of
differences. As your followers, show us the path to offering Christ-like love in
our communities. Amen.

Psalm 64

A David Psalm

1 Listen and help, O God. I'm reduced to a whine
And a whimper, obsessed
with feelings of doomsday.

2-6 Don't let them find me—
the conspirators out to get me,
Using their tongues as weapons,
flinging poison words,
poison-tipped arrow-words.
They shoot from ambush,
shoot without warning,
not caring who they hit.
They keep fit doing calisthenics
of evil purpose,
They keep lists of the traps
they've secretly set.
They say to each other,
"No one can catch us,
no one can detect our perfect crime."
The Detective detects the mystery
in the dark of the cellar heart.

7-8 The God of the Arrow shoots!
They double up in pain,
Fall flat on their faces
in full view of the grinning crowd.

9-10 Everyone sees it. God's
work is the talk of the town.
Be glad, good people! Fly to God!
Good-hearted people, make praise your habit
.

WEEKLY MEMORY VERSE ~ JOHN 8: 12 ~

See this dark place ?

Hmmmmm....solemn !

How would it be to live without natural light ?...setting aside the effect on vegetation and for humoring me sake, can we assume a constant supply of food and water ?....What symptoms would one expect to exhibit if one was forced to live without natural light ?....would someone born into that environment adapt ?..would it be terminal ? change in life-span ?

whajafink ?

This above was asked on a forum and an interesting discussion was going on...
No matter the discussion went in different directions the conclusion was that "They did not think life could be supported without light" directly or indirectly.

Someone said..."Its not a place that I would want to live though"!
Why this forum member said that is because this would be how the planet would look like....

"The answer I think is yes it is possible to live without natural light providing that substitute artificial lighting is provided. There are many indoor crops grown under artificial conditions and they grow well. Many deep cave animals also survive in complete darkness and now have no eyes as they have adapted to their situation.
The main problem I see is that it would be a very cold planet and with little or no weather patterns. In that situation the supply of fresh water could be a problem as no rain will fall but, the seawater if not frozen could be desalinated."
Reading all this made me think about our bible week verse

JESUS said 2 thousand years ago: "I am the world's Light. No one who follows me stumbles around in the darkness. I provide plenty of light to live in." John 8:12

We human beings are "THE WORLD" are we substituting Jesus ? To LIVE just as we are substituting daylight to grow crops or in office buildings so that employes are not getting depressed from lack of vitamin D ( DAYLIGHT) !! ??
Or do we adapt to LIFE WITHOUT JESUS just as the cave animals.....?Is it worth it to destroy our eyes.....( inner/spiritual eyes) only to adapt to a life without JESUS??
We settle than for a cold( loveless, selfish) planet...........We will never experience how it is to drink "LIVING WATER" Our life will be like a dessert...no rains ( showers of blessing) and if rain fall the water will evaporate or will never be enough for a dryland like this.......Or our life will be frozen and cold !! We will be really stumbling around in those circumstances and will dye eventually!!

I'm praying that we will not and are not adapting nor substituting JESUS but FOLOWING JESUS..........because we
want to live in plenty of Light HIS LIGHT !!

Moravian Daily Texts

Today i love to read my dayword and verses with you , and be blessed!

Friday, May 8

Psalm 61
Proverbs 2:9-3:20; 1 Corinthians 12:12-26

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.
Psalm 96:3

I am not ashamed of the gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone
who has faith. Romans 1:16

God of salvation, give us courage and energy for proclaiming your good news to
all who need it. Help us to tell our stories -- the stories of your faithfulness
within our lives
, and make the ears that hear us receptive to your message.
Amen.

Psalm 61
A David Psalm

1-2God, listen to me shout, bend an ear to my prayer.
When I'm far from anywhere,
down to my last gasp,
I call out, "Guide me
up High Rock Mountain!"

3-5 You've always given me breathing room,
a place to get away from it all,
A lifetime pass to your safe-house,
an open invitation as your guest.
You've always taken me seriously, God,
made me welcome among those who know and love you.

6-8 Let the days of the king add up
to years and years of good rule.
Set his throne in the full light of God;
post Steady Love and Good Faith as lookouts,
And I'll be the poet who sings your glory—
and live what I sing every day.

Proverbs 2:9-3:20 (The Message)

9-15 So now you can pick out what's true and fair,
find all the good trails!
Lady Wisdom will be your close friend,
and Brother Knowledge your pleasant companion.
Good Sense will scout ahead for danger,
Insight will keep an eye out for you.
They'll keep you from making wrong turns,
or following the bad directions
Of those who are lost themselves
and can't tell a trail from a tumbleweed,
These losers who make a game of evil
and throw parties to celebrate perversity,
Traveling paths that go nowhere,
wandering in a maze of detours and dead ends.

16-19 Wise friends will rescue you from the Temptress—
that smooth-talking Seductress
Who's faithless to the husband she married years ago,
never gave a second thought to her promises before God.
Her whole way of life is doomed;
every step she takes brings her closer to hell.
No one who joins her company ever comes back,
ever sets foot on the path to real living.

20-22 So—join the company of good men and women,
keep your feet on the tried-and-true paths
.
It's the men who walk straight who will settle this land,
the women with integrity who will last here.
The corrupt will lose their lives;
the dishonest will be gone for good.

Proverbs 3
Don't Assume You Know It All
1-2 Good friend, don't forget all I've taught you; take to heart my commands.
They'll help you live a long, long time,
a long life lived full and well.

3-4 Don't lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.
Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.
Earn a reputation for living well
in God's eyes and the eyes of the people.

5-12 Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all.
Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own;
give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst,
your wine vats will brim over.
But don't, dear friend, resent God's discipline;
don't sulk under his loving correction.

It's the child he loves that God corrects;
a father's delight is behind all this.

The Very Tree of Life
13-18 You're blessed when you meet Lady Wisdom,
when you make friends with Madame Insight.
She's worth far more than money in the bank;
her friendship is better than a big salary.
Her value exceeds all the trappings of wealth;
nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her.
With one hand she gives long life,
with the other she confers recognition.
Her manner is beautiful,
her life wonderfully complete.
She's the very Tree of Life to those who embrace her.
Hold her tight—and be blessed!

19-20 With Lady Wisdom, God formed Earth;
with Madame Insight, he raised Heaven.
They knew when to signal rivers and springs to the surface,
and dew to descend from the night skies.

1 Corinthians 12:12-26 (The Message)

12-13You can easily enough see how this kind of thing works by looking no further than your own body. Your body has many parts—limbs, organs, cells—but no matter how many parts you can name, you're still one body. It's exactly the same with Christ. By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain—his Spirit—where we all come to drink. The old labels we once used to identify ourselves—labels like Jew or Greek, slave or free—are no longer useful. We need something larger, more comprehensive.

14-18I want you to think about how all this makes you more significant, not less. A body isn't just a single part blown up into something huge. It's all the different-but-similar parts arranged and functioning together. If Foot said, "I'm not elegant like Hand, embellished with rings; I guess I don't belong to this body," would that make it so? If Ear said, "I'm not beautiful like Eye, limpid and expressive; I don't deserve a place on the head," would you want to remove it from the body? If the body was all eye, how could it hear? If all ear, how could it smell? As it is, we see that God has carefully placed each part of the body right where he wanted it.

19-24But I also want you to think about how this keeps your significance from getting blown up into self-importance. For no matter how significant you are, it is only because of what you are a part of. An enormous eye or a gigantic hand wouldn't be a body, but a monster. What we have is one body with many parts, each its proper size and in its proper place. No part is important on its own. Can you imagine Eye telling Hand, "Get lost; I don't need you"? Or, Head telling Foot, "You're fired; your job has been phased out"? As a matter of fact, in practice it works the other way—the "lower" the part, the more basic, and therefore necessary. You can live without an eye, for instance, but not without a stomach. When it's a part of your own body you are concerned with, it makes no difference whether the part is visible or clothed, higher or lower. You give it dignity and honor just as it is, without comparisons. If anything, you have more concern for the lower parts than the higher. If you had to choose, wouldn't you prefer good digestion to full-bodied hair?

25-26The way God designed our bodies is a model for understanding our lives together as a church: every part dependent on every other part, the parts we mention and the parts we don't, the parts we see and the parts we don't. If one part hurts, every other part is involved in the hurt, and in the healing. If one part flourishes, every other part enters into the exuberance.

Fearless Friday ~ JOHN 17: 20-23 ~

Photobucket

JESUS said in John 17:20-23
I'm
praying not only for them
But also for those who will believe in me
Because of them and their witness about me.
The goal is for all of them
to become one heart and mind—
Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you,
So they might be one heart and mind with us.
Then the world might
believe that you, in fact, sent me.
The same glory you gave me, I gave them,
So they'll be as unified and together as we are—
I in them and you in
me.
Then they'll be mature in this oneness,
And give the godless world
evidence
That you've sent me and loved them
In the same way you've loved
me.

Have mercy on us, O God, have mercy on us,
for in you our soul takes refuge.( Psalm 57)

Thankfull thursday~MOTHER ~

Thankful Thursday at Truth 4 the Journey

Today is THANKFULL THURSDAY

Lyn from Spiritually Unequal
Marriage
made this suggestion:
This Thursday let’s share with one
another our hearts about our mothers.

Or, why we are thankful to be a
mom and what God is teaching us.

Or, share about a Godly woman in your
life who is or has been a Mom to you (Titus 2).

Sharon At truth4theJourney host also TT and ask to make 5 points to be Thankfull for this past week!
Here goes my combination of those two beautifull TT meme's.....

Exodus 20:12 (New International Version)

12 "Honor your father and
your
mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is
giving you.

Matthew 10:37 (New International Version)

37"Anyone
who loves
his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who
loves his son
or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;

Those two verses i have always before me in my relationship with my parents, along those years as the daughter of my earthly parents and Heavenly Parent!

The initial answers to the question to share my heart where I wish.......

Yes i wish i could turn back the time we life in the same country and house.... on the same continent.
But God " My Heavenly parent" planned differently.......
I learned and are learning a lot from Him how to appreciate and love my mum, no matter the " ocean" between us.......

1 He said to me be
thankful that i blessed your mum's womb when i knit you
in it as her ONLY
child.
I bless her with you.Your life with me is a
blessing to her! If
she was not there you where not here.....
Psalm 139:13 (N I V)
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my
mother's
womb.

2 I'm thankfull for the good and bad examples my mum gave
me.Both are lessons for myself as a mother

Hosea 14:9 (The Message)
If you want to live well,
make sure you understand all of this.
If you
know what's good for you,
you'll learn this inside and out.
God's paths
get you where you want to go.
Right-living people walk
them easily;
wrong-living people are always tripping and stumbling.

3 I'm
thankful i inherit from her the character and got the example to care for others

4 I'm
thankfull that i still have my mum and changes to grow our
relationship

5 I'm thankfull that she was in Holland with the birth
of the eldest
and baptism of both my kids.

WEEKLY MEMORY VERSE - JOHN 3: 16 -

John 3:16 (New Living Translation)

16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

This version of our weekly memory verse i choose to memorize because the translation of my fav MSG was to lenghty.........Nevertheless reading it makes the picture complete for me and gives the verse more dept.

(The Message)

16-18"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.

Looking up the text in Blue Letter Bible gave also more insights I copy/paste some strongs to share with you ..and highlighted what i find interesting.....

'Ye are of God, little children', and 'the whole world lieth in the wicked one.' Does 'the whole world' there mean everybody? If so, how was it, then, that there were some who were 'of God?' The words 'world' and 'all' are used in some seven or eight senses in Scripture; and it is very rarely that 'all' means all persons, taken individually. The words are generally used to signify that Christ has redeemed some of all sorts—some Jews, some Gentiles, some rich, some poor, and has not restricted his redemption to either Jew or Gentile." QUOTE from LYSA TERKEUST!! (from " A MESS")
I'm convinced there's a reason the first four letters of Messiah spell mess. We need Him. Only the Messiah can take our mess and turn it into a untangled message of hope, forgiveness, and ultimately love.
