"House On A Rock "

June 12 - House On A Rock
Be watchful to hear My Voice and instantly to obey. Obedience is your great sign of faith.  "Why call ye Me Lord, Lord and do not the things that I say" was My word when on earth to the many who followed and heard, but did not do.
I likened the man who heard and did not do to the man who built his house on the sand.  In times of storm and trouble he is overthrown, his house falls.
I likened the man who obeyed Me implicitly to the man who built his house upon a rock.  In times of storm he is steadfast, immovable.
Do not feel that by this I mean only the keeping of My Commandments, even the living My Sermon on the Mount.  I mean more than that to those who know Me intimately.  I mean the following, in all, the Inner Guiding that I give, the little injunctions I speak to each individual soul, the wish I express - and desire to have carried out.

The secure, steadfast, immovable life of My disciples, the Rock Home, is not built at a wish, in a moment, but is laid, stone by stone, foundations, walls, roof, by the acts of obedience, the daily following out of My wishes, the loving doing of My will.
He that heareth these sayings of Mine and doeth them is like unto a man who built his house upon a rock, and the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house and it fell not, for it was founded upon a Rock.

And it is in that Rock-Home, manmade but divinely inspired - the House of Obedience - the truest expression of a disciple's adoration and worship - it is there I come to dwell with My loved one.
Am I not giving you work, hope?  Work for the gray days?  Just little plain bricks of duties done and My Wishes carried out.  All strengthening you and making of your character that steadfast, immovable Christian Character of which My servant Paul spoke and which he urged his followers to have.

Therefore, now amend your ways and your doings,
and obey the voice of the Lord your God.  Jeremiah 26:13
( Out  of God Calling
By Two listeners )

Yeah, these are old shoes that I've been walking in

I'm wearing weary like it's a second skin

I've been looking for a place to lay my head

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

Yeah, come on
You are a shelter for every misfit soul

We are the four walls and You're the cornerstone

You are, and You're the solid rock that we are built upon

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know that I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

'Cause in You I find my meaning, yeah

And in You I find my beauty

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing

All this time like a vagabond

A homeless stranger, I've been wandering

All my life You've been calling me to a home

You know I've been needing, I'm a broken stone

So lay me in the house You're building

Lay me in the house You're building

In the house You're building

Honouring the woman in my Life!

4 Generations  with my great-grandmother,
My grand-mothers sis,with adoptedsis
One of the many trips with my grandparents( loved my grannny's dressing style)
The woman who formed me in my Life!
My Mum,great-grandmother,great-aunt( sis of my grand-mother),"adopted" sister of my grand-mother and her sister!!

Thinking of them this MOTHERSDAY and i see strong woman and “virtuous woman” ...........Two great things i remember of all of them,is there HANDS and there PRAYERS.......
Hands that laboured hard and extended love to me each in there unique way....And i remember there hands that they folded to pray and those prayers will follow me and will be remembered each of my days!
4 Generations my mum,grand-mother,me and my daughter

I was the"apple of my granny's eye",and the only grand-child living in the same country

The“virtuous woman”  Proverbs 31:10-31. Repeating some of the highlights, the woman that God’s Word describes as PRAISEWORTHY:
• is of noble character
• is fully trustworthy
• is an asset to her husband
• is domestically skilled
• is concerned that her household be well and nutritiously fed
• is diligent, arising before dawn and busy until after dark
• is endowed with a good business sense, even to the point of buying a field and planting a vineyard
• may have her own profitable home-based business
• is a hard worker
• is generous to and aware of the poor and needy
• is wise in preparing her household for the needs of the days to come
• is wise in ensuring that she and her family are well and appropriately clothed
• is in proper relationship to her husband, who is out conducting his business affairs at the city gates
• is a woman of wisdom
• shows dignity and strength
• is a faithful instructor to her children
• is diligent to watch over her household
• is the recipient of blessing and praise from her children and her husband
• is above all a God-fearing, godly woman!

Day 5 Reshaping it All !! ~ " MESS-iah ........"Cloth myself with Jesus"~

Posted  these "RESHAPE area's" i want to work on
" What do i like to reshape"

* My home...outlook esp...get rid of things, repairing a lot...making it ' an home/haven' for everyone.
* My body more energy ..loosing some pounds and getting again some muscles and no "flappy skin" dangling.....on some area's..lol...I have no scale since ages so can't say how much pounds but would be nice to fit in an pants "42" is that 18 or 20 in eng?...
* My relationship with my family:What comes to my mind is working on communicating, listening and speaking eachother 'Love language' The last 2 month's it feels like we are getting in "an rud"....
* Can't come yet on an 4th but i know it will come to mind soon....
TODAY  to be specifically early in the midnight when i woke up...Lately i fall a sleep in the evening wake-up in the midnight and go back to bedin the "wee-hours" of the night......Well there is no harm to do that now because my kids have "SPRING-HOLIDAY"...No need to wake-up early in the morning to go to school
But from tomorrow i need to wake-up early to do 3 days of "early-shift" at my workplace......

So i came on the 4th AREA and in fact the MOST important one i realize how could i forget that!!!
MY RELATIONSHIP with the LORD!!In fact the BASIS of all......  I ask myself different q when i think about my relationship with Him
  • Why it looks like i take it for granted......Why i am not full of Thanks.Praise and Worship spontanousely........??
  • Why it seems like my flesh says......."I am tired..","I can't concentrate"?Whyi get distracted by the kids,by my own thoughts.......
  • Why am i beating myself -up
  • Why i feel un-comfortable to find words to pray....Mostly i spend in silence prayer.....
You know when i started making this list and thinking things over ...I see similarity's in the 2 area's about 'Reshaping my relationships..........."

There is something going on that needs change......
I look the verb "TO RELATE " up it means..........TO CONNECT........!!I realize "THE ROOT" of my
  • dis-satisfaction
  • un-comfortable feeling
  • depressed feeling
  • irritability
  • axiouseness
Is my feeling ....of being disconnected ....."Huh is it TRUE .....?Disconnected with your kids with your hubby with The Lord??"

What an MESS made me remember the video of "Lisa Terkeust" asking what you see in the word "MESSIAH" .............MESS!!!!
He alone can bring CHANGE in my "MESS of FEELINGS" towards  my family members towards God himself......I feel i let all parties down........
But who am I must i fix-it alone......Who do i think,that i can fix it????
JESUS fixed it already on the cross of calvery!!!
  • I need to CALL onto HIM....
  • I need to LOOK-UP to HIM
  • I need to FALL ON MY KNEES and repent
  • I need to PRAISE and WORSHIP HIM and him ALONE
"JESUS...JESUS...JESUS....Lord......My Savior My Redeemer......
I come to you humbly...It feels like i am in "an crowd" right now....Yes Lord in my mind my heart it is like an busy crowd......but my hand my soul is fighting His way to TOUCH the hem of your garment .....Yes lord i need to reach YOU and You alone.Look at me Lord......I want to be washed by YOUR blood and become whiter than snow.....Cloth me again Lord with YOURSELF. Thank You Jesus...I loveYou and honour you....
Be today in all my actions and bless all who i will encounter.
In Your name i pray Amen"

("Touch the Hem of His Garment" Nicole Mullen)

( found this teaching from "Forest Lake Church media ministry Speaker: Dr. Derek Morris "Clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ" )

The video below..The 1st spoke to my heart and the 2 other songs came out of my spirit and i look them up on youtube....Sing a long with me to day..Jesus is so worthy to be praised!!

4th Day "RESHAPING it ALL"

Goodmorning....evening...night....!!

For me it is early morning.
Monday was an day instead of going out with the kids( it's springholiday ) we did "spring cleaning"....We all where exhausted but satisfied....
Yesterday started with "oversleeping" and going to work an hour( yes 1 whole hour) to late......
Coming back home the kids surprised me going on with the cleaning and de-cluttering......Thursday we can put always "junk" on the street to be picked up and around the corner is an container to collect clothes and the organisation will deliver it to 3th world countries....So the "cleaning goal" for this week is getting rid of clothes.....and all we are not using and keeping for keeping sake it looks like.....Along the time i notice we are keeping to much toys, books, piles of magazines and papers and also hubby extends repairing some electric stuff........
Well i think our "SPRING CLEANING" fits under
Missy

I discovered ,it helps to organize and make an habit of things to set an goal in an time-span....
So that is my aim for the time of may an "31 days closer to......"
And for an 2 month + span will be the "Reshaping of All". To be exactly an 65 days span

I reflected on the tips of "day 2"

 Five tips :
  1. Formulate a plan deciding what you want to achieve and how you plan to get there ."I want to achieve an healthy balance spiritually and physically" How.....1st READING and carving time out  daily for reading bible verses and chapters from "Made to Crave"2nd making healthy choices....food wise: 1st changes are already drinking lots of water lesser coffee and normal blacktea switching too herb teas and green tea. Eating more salads and lesser to non red meats......Healty choices about exercise...biking daily joined my daughter to take Zumba lessons at least once an week.....
  2. Be mindful of how much you eat and how much you move. Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full." Was doing this alteady since some weeks now"
  3. If you aren't sure exactly how to stop when you're full. Try taking smaller portions. And after you're done, decide if you're satisfied or physically hungry for more."Good tip.......do it already ,but not consequently..."
  4. Stop drinking calories and start drinking more water if you aren't already. 6-8 glasses is a good rule of thumb." This is happening already........drink lots of herb tea..."
  5. Incorporate wholesome food into your diet, and eliminate junk."Yep try to get the whole family to eat this.......More salad ,more fruits, more beans and grains"
Sharing with you
Some verses and wise words i got to read today by Lysa Terkeust autor of "Made to Crave"

I am a forgiven child of God. (Romans 3:24)

I am a set-free child of God. (Romans 8:1 – 2)

I am an accepted child of God. (1 Corinthians 1:2)

I am a holy child of God. (1 Corinthians 1:30)

I am a made-new child of God. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

I am a loved child of God. (Ephesians 1:4)

I am a close child of God. (Ephesians 2:13)

I am a confident child of God. (Ephesians 3:12)

I am a victorious child of God (Romans 8:37)

The 'Challenge q" from 'Reshaping it All"the 3th day was to
To sit down and list four things that Iwould like to reshape in my life, and then get started on changing them.
" What do i like to reshape"
  • My home...outlook esp...get rid of things, repairing a lot...making it ' an home/haven' for everyone.
  • My body more energy ..loosing some pounds and getting again some muscles and no "flappy skin" dangling.....on some area's..lol...I have no scale since ages so can't say how much pounds but would be nice to fit in an pants "42" is that 18 or 20 in eng?...
  • My relationship with my family:What comes to my mind is working on communicating, listening and speaking eachother 'Love language' The last 2 month's it feels like we are getting in "an rud"....
  • Can't come yet on an 4th but i know it will come to mind soon....

And for TODAY the 4th day
Darlene Schacht, co-author of Reshaping it All written  by Candace Cameron Bure phrased an passage out of the book:

"Starting a diet or buying a new shade of lipstick won't put you on a path to freedom. I might make you feel good on the outside, which is a natural part of your womanhood, but the change must begin with the transformation by the Sprit--the renewing of our minds." Candace Cameron Bure, Reshaping it All, page 8.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~ Romans 12:1-2

Since cancer threatened to take the life I had, I decided that any days I lived beyond cancer would be dedicated to creating the life I want to live. If you've ever thought: One day I will ... scrapbook, organize my pantry, create cute looks on a lean budget, adopt a baby from Ethiopia, look toned on the beach or read my Bible all the way from Genesis to Revelation or any other big or little someday thought, this series is for you.

65 Days to Reshaping it All ~ Day 2~

I read today on the website "Reshaping it ALL" today

I pray this book will be more than a weight-loss book and far more than any testimony. I pray that by it faith will be your compass in this journey through weight loss to freedom, as it has also been mine. Not only is God wanting to walk this journey with you; He is ready to equip you to handle the job. Why? Because "He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us." (Eph. 3:20, NKJV). And besides that, He cares so deeply for you that even the hairs on your hair are numbered. ~ Candace Cameron Bure, Reshaping it All, page 3.

Beside that this vers always gave an "boost" to me to PRAY and set MY MIND and HEART on God first.....not out of obligation or because it is written in Gods word.........but BECAUSE i'm doing it made me EXPERIENCE......an POWER in me .........

Made me remember the 1st ch in another book that made the conection between physical change and spirituallygrowth.....".Made to Crave"
The 1st word to remember was EMPOWERMENT>>>>>I learned to say and see " I got the Powwa".......

Since i'm seeing the spiritual connection....I am focused on the ASKING and THINKING...
Giving my struggles in EVERY AREA including food choices...and  filling my mind with GOD'S WORD and wisdom....

On pg 23 the writer Lysa Terkeust of Made to Crave says:
[Eve] focused only on the object of her obsession.......Eve CRAVED what she focused on. We consume what we think about. And what we think about can consume us if we're not careful.

pg 29
" I had to get honest enough to admit it.I relied on food more than i relied on God. I craved food more than i craved God. Food was my comfort. Food was my reward. Food was my Joy. Food was what i turned to in times of stress, sadness, and even in times of happiness.

5 Tips we got to put into practice every day:

  1. Formulate a plan deciding what you want to achieve and how you plan to get there, then pray asking God for guidance and strength.
  2. Be mindful of how much you eat and how much you move. Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full.
  3. If you aren't sure exactly how to stop when you're full. Try taking smaller portions. And after you're done, decide if you're satisfied or physically hungry for more.
  4. Stop drinking calories and start drinking more water if you aren't already. 6-8 glasses is a good rule of thumb.
  5. Incorporate wholesome food into your diet, and eliminate junk.

It is nearly noon now at my place.
Mmmm i did not follow an specific plan today when i came out of my bed.it is spring holiday overhere and today i am also free ( from work) so can do sth with the kids......
The plan was to pay an visit to family due to an birthday.....We need to travel by bus and train...the weather today is windy/chilly but sunny ...
Looking food wise today no plan see what will be served on the birthday.......So it depends what choices i will make and also on our way.......
It is almost noon did not make an breakfast yet i only took an cup of coffee and was with my thought here emailing..blogging and reading......
Did not stand -up to wake-up the kids...change the plan ( while enjoying my rest and me time overhere) to departure early.......
Good choice????I don't know  but i do not want to beat myself up......Staying RELAXED and feel not rushed and being like an choach/trainer to get the kids going........In fact it is my idea to visit there anty and it is there holiday....Sleeping out after an bussy" holiday weekend" overhere..It was last saturday 'Queensday in Holland" an free and celebration day....Te kids joined in activities with friends. I took it easy and stay home relaxing and reading.....
So this is my sharing on this 2nd day of the journey with all of you

"Father God thank You for this brand new day...Thank You for waking up healthy being ably to reflect think  what is good and honorable and to do your will. Guide and protect me and my family.....Protect our hearts and mind....Fill us up with yourself and your wisdom....Lord.
I thank you for the christian community online of sisters who also wants to follow your will and she change in there life......See there life is "rehaping" See there Craving for You  and you alone growing. Yes Lord bless my day and there day in Jesus name i pray Amen"

"RESHAPING IT ALL"................................

This week i  bumped-up an announcement over at http://www.womenlivingwell-courtney.blogspot.com/.For an 65 days  of  RESHAPING IT ALL.....
I was caught by different things the name......and connecting over an period of time with woman with this goal...
Also that collecting the book is not really necessary.......This last gave me the last push because i am reading already "bit's and pieces" of "Made to Crave" and that is also an book who is spurring on to bring "change" reshaping.....in our lifes In both books ( as i understand) faith plays a big part in our journey of Reshaping it All
Like to join head over to  http://reshapingitallwithcandace.blogspot.com/2011/05/were-having-party-at-reshaping-it-all.html

Let’s face it, reshaping our lives can be tough at times, especially difficult when we’re trying to do it alone, but our drive is definitely strengthened when we have the support of friends.

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. ~ Ecclesiastes 4:12, NIV

I see how i am lead to post about this 65 days journey.....but wanted to share with all of you where i am......
July 4th is my goal to see an "RESHAPING" in different area's of my life!

Blessings!

SUPER RESURRECTION SONday!!!

Sunday mornin' six o'clock
Looks like the sun hasn't been up long
Jerusalem's in a state of shock
Somebody's sayin' that there's something wrong
Mary says she's seen Him and He's alive
Well, the priests say that's a lie
But He did say He would rise.

He rolled away the stone
There's nobody left in that hole in the ground
He rolled away the stone
There's nothin' there but an empty shroud
I can tell ya that the Lord is up and gone
Cause He rolled away the stone
He rolled away the stone.

Thomas said I can't believe
That He is risen from the grave
Mary said that in Galilee
You can see Him face to face
Then he felt His hands and touched His side
Well, it opened up his eyes
My Lord, my God he cried

Este é o meu respirar
Este é o meu respirar
Teu Santo Espírito
Vivendo em mim
E este é o meu pão
E este é o meu pão
Tua vontade
Feita em mim
E e - u
Eu nada sou sem ti
E e - u
Perdido (a) estou sem ti

This is the air I breathe(2x)
Your holy presence living in me

This is my daily bread (2x)
Your very word spoken to me

Me derramar

Here I am
Once again
I pour out my heart
For I know that you hear
Every cry
You are listening
No matter what state
My heart is in

You are faithful to answer
With words that are true
And a hope that is real
As I feel your touch
You bring a freedon
To all that's within
In the safety of this place
I'm longing to

Pout out my heart
To say that I love You
Pout out my heart
To say that I need You
Pout out my heart
To say that i'm thankful
Pout out my heart
To say that You're wonderful

The great thing in prayer is to feel that we are putting our supplications into the bossom of omnipotent love. ~Andrew Murray {Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! ~Psalm 66:20}
"Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." 1 John 4:10-11 KJV

I saw this video from Mandissa and while listening to the lyrics. I felt it to be an song to post on "Simple/Super Sunday" and reflect on the verses and picture what would be fitting to post with it.So i did with the above.

SUPER SON Sunday

"TSMSS"~ " Not Guilty "..........."What if we were Real".......MANDISSA~

Verse 1:
I stand accused, there's a list a mile long
Of all my sins, of everything that I've done wrong
I'm so ashamed, there's nowhere left for me to hide
This is the day, I must answer for my life
My fate is in the Judges hands,
But then he turns to me and says

Chorus:
I know you, I love you
I gave my life, to save you
Love paid the price for mercy
My verdict, not guilty

Verse 2:
How can it be, I cannot begin to comprehend
What kind of Grace would take the place for all my sins
I stand in awe, now that I have been set free
And the tears well up, as I look at that Cross
'Cause it should've been me
My fate was in the nail scarred hands,
He stretched them out for me and said...

Chorus:
I know you, I love you
I gave my life, to save you
Love paid the price, for Mercy
My verdict, not guilty

Bridge:
I'm falling on my knees to thank You
With everything I am, I praise You
So grateful for the words I heard you say

Chorus:
I know you, I love you
I gave my life...
I know you, I love you
I gave my life, just to save you
Love paid the price, for Mercy
My verdict is, not guilty
Love paid the price, for Mercy
My verdict, not guilty ... not guilty

Lately i encountered and love different songs from  Mandissa The Lyrics of the songs and the messages she is bringing out are such an encouragement and inspiration
The story  behind the powerful song "What If we where real" is an message she gaves and what i want to take to heart myself and pray you will also

I shared this because of the lyrics on the video, but i loved the live version video better
Mandissa ....she is so authentic and down to earth in her performances and the messages she brings with her songs to honour the Lord with her talent!

17 years ago..................

Enriched eachothers life

We started our married life together to celebrate it symbolic on an boat to sail away together through life
And today we can say The  Lord is our "captain and guide"......through this  life together.
He has blessed us with eachother

And we gave an promise to eachother and got  more promises  along those years from Him,
some are:
My grace is sufficient for you. 2 Corinthians 12:9
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Amen Amen and with the words of   Charles H. Spurgeon i can say

"Our Faith goes up the stairs that love has built and looks out the windows which hope has opened."

Redeemer.....Redentor..........

Always  loved this song and how Nicole C. Mullen sings it but this s week i heard her singing it for the 1st time in Spanish

Redentor

y esas manos tan tiernas

Gracias Jesus
El vive
Mi Redentor Vive!
Yo se que, yo se que, yo se que
Mi Redentor vive!
La tumba esta vacias!
El vive, El vive
Hable con El HOY dia!
El vive, El vive
Yo se, yo se
VIVE!----------------

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
and Who told the ocean you can only come this far?
and Who showed the moon where to hide 'til evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?

......Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives:
Let all creations testify
Let this, life within me cry
I know my Redeemer lives, yeah.

The very same God that spins things in orbit
runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creations testify
Let this life within we cry
I know my Redeemer, He lives
To take away my shame
And He lives forever, I'll proclaim

That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
But now He's alive and
There's an empty grave.

And I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creations testify
Let this life within me cry
I know my Redeemer,

I know my Redeemer
I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
I know that I know that I know that I know that I know my redeemer lives
Because He lives I can face tomorrow
I Know I know
He lives He lives yeah, yeah I spoke with him this morning
He lives He lives, the tomb is empty,
He lives I gotta tell everybody

Jeremiah 31:34-36 (New International Version, ©2011)

34 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
            declares the LORD.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”
35 This is what the LORD says,
   he who appoints the sun
   to shine by day,
who decrees the moon and stars
   to shine by night,
who stirs up the sea
   so that its waves roar—
the LORD Almighty is his name:
36 “Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,”
   declares the LORD,
“will Israel ever cease
   being a nation before me.”

QUOTE from LYSA TERKEUST!! (from " A MESS")
I'm convinced there's a reason the first four letters of Messiah spell mess. We need Him. Only the Messiah can take our mess and turn it into a untangled message of hope, forgiveness, and ultimately love.
