Deuteronomy 1:26-42 (The Message)

Rebellion Against the LORD

²⁶ But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. ²⁷ You grumbled in your tents and said, "The LORD hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us. ²⁸ Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, 'The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there.' "

²⁹ Then I said to you, "Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. ³⁰ The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, ³¹ and in the desert. There you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place."

³² In spite of this, you did not trust in the LORD your God, ³³ who went ahead of you on your journey, in fire by night and in a cloud by day, to search out places for you to camp and to show you the way you should go.

³⁴ When the LORD heard what you said, he was angry and solemnly swore: ³⁵³⁶ except Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the LORD wholeheartedly." "Not a man of this evil generation shall see the good land I swore to give your forefathers,

³⁷ Because of you the LORD became angry with me also and said, "You shall not enter it, either. ³⁸ But your assistant, Joshua son of Nun, will enter it. Encourage him, because he will lead Israel to inherit it. ³⁹ And the little ones that you said would be taken captive, your children who do not yet know good from bad—they will enter the land. I will give it to them and they will take possession of it. ⁴⁰ But as for you, turn around and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea. ^a]">[a] "

⁴¹ Then you replied, "We have sinned against the LORD. We will go up and fight, as the LORD our God commanded us." So every one of you put on his weapons, thinking it easy to go up into the hill country.

⁴² But the LORD said to me, "Tell them, 'Do not go up and fight, because I will not be with you. You will be defeated by your enemies.' "

⁴³ So I told you, but you would not listen. You rebelled against the LORD's command and in your arrogance you marched up into the hill country. ⁴⁴ The Amorites who lived in those hills came out against you; they chased you like a swarm of bees and beat you down from Seir all the way to Hormah. ⁴⁵ You came back and wept before the LORD, but he paid no attention to your weeping and turned a deaf ear to you. ⁴⁶ And so you stayed in Kadesh many days—all the time you spent there.

Today God is talking to me through different blogs and sermons on the radio!

Yesterday i told you about the picture i got about the process of pruning in myself!

It is like "the soil of my soul is up-rooted weeds need to get out the root of those weeds need to be destroyed!

I was reflecting about some weeds in my life......?

Being upset easily....,moody........What is upsetting me.....When does i get upset?

When things are not going my way....i love to give instructions to my kids and HOW they must do it!!??

Frequently i asked my husband to do something but also with how to because....otherwise.......

I get upset when it is done differently and ESPECIALLY when it goes WRONG!!

" Did i not tell you....did i not warn you that....."!!??

This is so exhausting .....i feel myself like a "police" or like a judge in disputing situations.....but how i come in those situations??

I give myself this position...

Why what is the ROOT of this controlling behavior......??

FEAR

of what??

Giving TRUST.........

To GOD ABOVE ALL ( that He made my loved ones and is leading them...)

and

not TRUSTING my love ones to be capable

or THINK i can prevent them from....

This is also FEAR!!

FEAR IS REBELLION AGAINST GOD!!

I heard this today in a sermon with above verse as example.......

FEAR in you TOUCHED EVERYBODY YOU COME IN CONTACT WITH!!

Because of this rebellion FEAR they did not enter the land promised to their fore- fathers

The kids they where worrying about will enter and Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the LORD wholeheartedly."

comes of my SIN to FEAR this is THE ROOT!!

I want to enjoy My fathers promises for me and my family ...

No negative words spoken to eachother

No putting of guilt on eachother ( is this not what the enemy LOVE to make us feel guilty to accuse us of.....!)

The PEACE of God will come in!

Father God forgive me my sin of FEAR my rebellion against your WORD of LOVE and TRUST. Grant me your PEACE, LOVE and everything of your spirit what will give no space for this FEAR.May i follow you wholeheartedly!

Puppy Size
This is one of the neatest stories you will ever hear. You will know precisely what this little girl is talking about at the end (you'll want to share this one with your loved ones and special friends)!

'Danielle keeps repeating it over and over again. We've been back to this animal shelter at least five times. It has been weeks now since we started all of this,' the mother told the volunteer.

'What is it she keeps asking for?' the volunteer asked.
'Puppy size!' replied the mother

'Well, we have plenty of puppies, if that's what she's looking for.' 'I know..... we have seen most of them, ' the mom said in frustration...

Just then Danielle came walking into the office

'Well, did you find one?' asked her mom.

'No, not this time,' Danielle said with sadness in her voice. 'Can we come back on the weekend?'


The two women looked at each other, shook their heads and laughed

'You never know when we will get more dogs. Unfortunately, there's always a supply,' the volunteer said.

Danielle took her mother by the hand and headed to the door. 'Don't worry, I'll find one this weekend,' she
said.

Over the next few days both Mom and Dad had long conversations with her. They both felt she was being too particular. 'It's this weekend or we're not looking any more,' Dad finally said in frustration.


'We don't want to hear anything more about puppy size, either,' Mom added.

Sure enough, they were the first ones in the shelter on Saturday morning . By now Danielle knew her way around, so she ran right for the section that housed the smaller dogs.

Tired of the routine, mom sat in the small waiting room at the end of the first row of cages. There was an observation window so you could see the animals during times when visitors weren't permitted.


Danielle walked slowly from cage to cage, kneeling periodically to take a closer look. One by one the dogs were brought out and she held each one.
One by one she said, 'Sorry, but you're not the one.'

It was the last cage on this last day in search of the perfect pup. The volunteer opened the cage door and the child carefully picked up the dog and held it closely. This time she took a little longer.

'Mom, that's it! I found the right puppy! He's the one! I know it!' She screamed with joy. 'It's the puppy size!'

'But it's the same size as all the other puppies you held over the last few weeks,' Mom said.

'No not size.. The sighs. When I held him in my arms, he sighed,' she said.
'Don't you remember? When I asked you one day what love is, you told me love depends on the sighs of your heart. The more you love, the bigger the sigh!'

The two women looked at each other for a moment. Mom didn't know whether to laugh or cry. As she stooped down to hug the child, she did a little of both.

'Mom, every time you hold me, I sigh. When you and Daddy come home from work and hug each other, you both sigh. I knew I would find the right puppy if it sighed when I held it in my arms,' she said. Then, holding the puppy up close to her face, she said, 'Mom, he loves me. I heard the sighs of his heart!'


Close your eyes for a moment and think about the love that
makes you sigh. I not only find it in the arms of my loved ones, but in the caress of a sunset, the kiss of the moonlight and the gentle brush of cool air on a hot day. They are the sighs of God. Take the time to stop and listen; you will be surprised at what you hear. 'Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.'

God's Decree.

^33-34"This is the brand-new covenant that I will make with Israel when the time comes. I will put my law within them—write it on their hearts!—and be their God. And they will be my people. They will no longer go around setting up schools to teach each other about God. They'll know me firsthand, the dull and the bright, the smart and the slow. I'll wipe the slate clean for each of them. I'll forget they ever sinned!" God's Decree.

If This Ordered Cosmos Ever Fell to Pieces

³⁵God's Message, from the God who lights up the day with sun and
brightens the night with moon and stars,
Who whips the ocean into a billowy froth,
whose name is God-of-the-Angel-Armies:

³⁶"If this ordered cosmos ever fell to pieces,
fell into chaos before me"—God's Decree—
"Then and only then might Israel fall apart
and disappear as a nation before me."

³⁷God's Message:

"If the skies could be measured with a yardstick
and the earth explored to its core,
Then and only then would I turn my back on Israel,
disgusted with all they've done." God's Decree.

^38-40"The time is coming"—it's God's Decree—"when God's city will be rebuilt, rebuilt all the way from the Citadel of Hanamel to the Corner Gate. The master plan will extend west to Gareb Hill and then around to Goath. The whole valley to the south where incinerated corpses are dumped—a death valley if there ever was one!—and all the terraced fields out to the Brook Kidron on the east as far north as the Horse Gate will be consecrated to me as a holy place.

Killing and Disease Are on Our Doorstep

^1-5 The Message Jeremiah received from God in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah. It was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar. At that time the army of the king of Babylon was holding Jerusalem under siege. Jeremiah was shut up in jail in the royal palace. Zedekiah, king of Judah, had locked him up, complaining, "How dare you preach, saying, 'God says, I'm warning you: I will hand this city over to the king of Babylon and he will take it over. Zedekiah king of Judah will be handed over to the Chaldeans right along with the city. He will be handed over to the king of Babylon and forced to face the music. He'll be hauled off to Babylon where he'll stay until I deal with him. God's Decree. Fight against the Babylonians all you want—it won't get you anywhere.'"

^6-7Jeremiah said, "God's Message came to me like this: Prepare yourself! Hanamel, your uncle Shallum's son, is on his way to see you. He is going to say, 'Buy my field in Anathoth. You have the legal right to buy it.'

⁸"And sure enough, just as God had said, my cousin Hanamel came to me while I was in jail and said, 'Buy my field in Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin, for you have the legal right to keep it in the family. Buy it. Take it over.' "That did it. I knew it was God's Message.

^9-12"So I bought the field at Anathoth from my cousin Hanamel. I paid him seventeen silver shekels. I followed all the proper procedures: In the presence of witnesses I wrote out the bill of sale, sealed it, and weighed out the money on the scales. Then I took the deed of purchase—the sealed copy that contained the contract and its conditions and also the open copy—and gave them to Baruch son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah. All this took place in the presence of my cousin Hanamel and the witnesses who had signed the deed, as the Jews who were at the jail that day looked on.

^13-15"Then, in front of all of them, I told Baruch, 'These are orders from God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel: Take these documents—both the sealed and the open deeds—and put them for safekeeping in a pottery jar. For God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel, says, "Life is going to return to normal. Homes and fields and vineyards are again going to be bought in this country."'

2 Timothy 3

Difficult Times Ahead

^1-5Don't be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They'll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they're animals. Stay clear of these people.

^6-9These are the kind of people who smooth-talk themselves into the homes of unstable and needy women and take advantage of them; women who, depressed by their sinfulness, take up with every new religious fad that calls itself "truth." They get exploited every time and never really learn. These men are like those old Egyptian frauds Jannes and Jambres, who challenged Moses. They were rejects from the faith, twisted in their thinking, defying truth itself. But nothing will come of these latest impostors. Everyone will see through them, just as people saw through that Egyptian hoax.

Yes with this picture i want to express my mood coming back to my blog!!

What shall i write?

Shall i pick-up where i stopped joining in meme's?

My laying it ALL down at His feet up-rooted the soil of my soul at least so is how i see it........

Like how you have to up rooted the soil and take ALL WEED out before starting planting seeds to grow properly...

The seeds need to be watered and grow.....

The seeds are all the qualities ( some maybe call it gifts) i got from God and He is watering it to grow properly!!

In this proces he opened my eye for the weeds and how to get rid of them....

I must strive for enough sleep ( no matter my different shifts..and needed to wake-up in the morning for the kids) and spend time with the Lord 1st things first preferable BEFORE everybody wakes up or on my free days straight away after the family left ....NOT EXTENDING......and extending!! What happened i had quiet time in bits and pieces during the day with to much "noise"(distractions) the same time......or at the end of the day totally exhausted( also a distraction)

And the second eye opener is taking good care of my temple( body)...WALKS-FOOD choices and also enough SLEEP!!

And the 3th eye opener or DECISION more to say because i knew it already......My character is to fly and not fight when i can choose in situations!!
Only when i am with my back against an wall and can't go left or right i fight and experience i can CLIMB ALSO OVER MOUNTAINS!!
So the decision i made is to FACE and or confront myself with all what God is dealing with me in different area's of my mind-body-soul and life challenges.......
Not running away or turning my face for it or extending to do BUT to look at it....pray and resolve.....or change......

This rooting-up PRUNING of me for His Glory was and IS an experience more worthy than Gold.....Especially while it is happening you feel the "watering of your soul " by The Lord His never ending Father Love who is felt and the best place to be with Him.A place where He sees us how we are........He sees THE REAL ME......and will bring out THE BEST of us for HIS GLORY and HIS PURPOSES!! Is this also the place you are? If not i urge you to go and seek for this "golden experience" with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ..........

It was not TOTALLY quiet ,as i announced last week to be at Lisa's for to join in L.O.A.M. from the inside out to do a 7 day's "Lay it down".....
I shared overhere two songs that helped me to focus on working on my relationship with the Lord basking in His presence and LOVE....,To Uncover the covered....and Surrender.....
I'm a little behind in the whole process because in the 1st days i was not totally with my "head and heart" in it I was giving in to running away but PRAISE GOD He had ( He always have)patience with me and i was determined to obey no matter the struggle and attacks.....
Today is praising and thanking God. I'm still in the "middle" of the assignments of the 7 days but with this post i want to praise and thank the Lord today

I Praise Him for my today Daily texts what is so fitting in the process i'm in "Un-cover the cover-up"! He urge me to do it and lay it ALL down at the feet of His son My Savior and while thinking about this i hear the lyrics in the song i posted yesterday

^1-2 God, come close. Come quickly! Open your ears—it's my voice you're hearing!
Treat my prayer as sweet incense rising;
my raised hands are my evening prayers.

^3-7 Post a guard at my mouth, God,
set a watch at the door of my lips.
Don't let me so much as dream of evil
or thoughtlessly fall into bad company.
And these people who only do wrong—
don't let them lure me with their sweet talk!
May the Just One set me straight,
may the Kind One correct me,

THANK YOU father for my preciouse blogfriends and i want to mention two names father : because i'm so HAPPY and THANKFUL for the healing not so long ago of my sister at " My growingwalk" and Thankful for the recovery of my friend Lisa at " God is Good" her son and your saving hand on her son and leading of the medical workers who surrounded her son last week.

I Thank YOU father for your forgiveness and patience with me this week what would i be without your grace

And i'm THANKFUL for the never ending Love towards me.Your blessing and ALL the oppurtunities to bless others.

Bringing before Your trone MARRIAGES who are going through a storm father let the spouses see your "baken" Your son Jesus Christ Lord and cling to His saving power to His Hope....Father gave those marriages Hope and a future and send people with Godly counsel to help to them Lord

Praying for all the persons WHO SUFFER in BODY SPIRIT and MIND

Praying FOR THE ELDERLY
Lifting up my patients
Lifting up their families who have to deal with loosing their loved-ones to sicknesses of Dementia........

Praying particularly today for an family who are grieving the dead of their loved one and closing a LONG process of dealing with an Alzheimer patient
Praying especially for the spouse. Thanking You that You are their Strenght and Refuge Father....Praying father that my patient find and rest in peace in Jesus Name!

My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

I'm just a simple sinner Who received God's good grace, somehow!

The Worker's 23^rd Psalm

The Lord is my boss, and I shall not want.

He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me.

He reminds me to pray, before I speak in anger.

He restores my sanity.

He guides my decisions that I might honor Him in all I do.

Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mail, system failures, copier jams, back-ordered supplies, unrealistic deadlines, staff shortages, budget cutbacks, red tape, downsizing, gossiping co-workers and whining customers,

I won't give up, for You are with me.

Your presence, peace and power will see me through.

You raise me up, even when the boss fails to promote me.

You claim me as your own, even when the company threatens to let me go.

Your loyalty and love are better than a bonus check.

Your retirement plan beats any 401K, and when it's all said and done,

I'll be working for you a whole lot longer!

We pray, dear God, that we learn to live in union with each other. May we always
