Psalm 30:1-5
Exodus 1:1-2:10; Matthew 18:15-35

Remember the Lord in a distant land, and let Jerusalem come into your
mind. Jeremiah 51:50

Those who are ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and
sinful generation, of them the Son of Man will also be ashamed when he
comes. Mark 8:38

Lord, thank you for your love that stretches to every land. Draw me close to you when I become distant. Calm my fears when I become ashamed of my weaknesses and I’m afraid to let you come near. Jesus, help me not to adulterate the life of forgiveness that you have given for all people.
Son of man, we confess we sometimes feel we are living in a distant land
and need your help. Let us remember to look for your light that
surrounds and lives in us. Fill us, O Lord, this day. Amen.

Living Fearlessly in 2010 – Part 3 or “Do I Matter?”

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” ~ Matthew 10:29-31 (ESV ~ emphasis mine)

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful
are your works; my soul knows it very well.” ~ Psalm 139:14 (ESV)

Max Lucado writes in his book “Fearless“:
“Ah, There it is. There is the question. The Amazon River out of which a thousand fears flow: do we matter? We fear we don’t. We fear nothingness, insignificance. We fear evaporation. We fear that in the last tabulation we make no contribution to the final sum. We fear coming and going and non one knowing” and “Connect to someone special and become someone special, right?

Iris from "Grace Alone" is posting every 2 weeks  about the book " FEARLESS" of M.Lucado and her thoughts about an part and make us think some questions over.

The question for the last 2 weeks were
Where there times when you linked up so you could catch a lime-light ray? Please do share – it does not have to be connected with blogging; maybe in your immediate surroundings? Did you ever wish you could be like ________?
Over the next week I would like you to ponder the Cross. What does the Cross say about how much you matter to God?
Well....I am a little  late in making an post but the questions i asked myself for some minutes....hours..days..(LOL)
Initially i wanted to say "I do not love lime-lights and try to get out of there ways....I rather stay as anonymous as possible as long as i can remember"
As a child i believe i went un-noticed.......
But when i started thinking about it more deeper........I looked up at people who matter....I was dreaming of becoming like them......started imitating.......
I remember as an kid to love all those TV programs and soaps.....Dreaming of an life like that...talking like such and so...Dancing like.....LOL....
WELL so i conclude i was dreaming of this "Lime-light" thing......
I did not link -up consiousely but it is possible that ALOT of my behavior ( thoughts etc ...) was formed by those...idea's...persons....

The second question.....When i look at the cross "What does that say how much i matter to God"??!!

I want to be honest and open about my thoughts in this post....
When i look at my Christian walk most of it i was only aware of one aspect of God TO BE MY FATHER!!
The BEST PLACE to hide...THE BEST PERSON to talk to was GOD for me as an child as adult......!!
Wanted to know my heavenly father...wanted to be an GOOD CHILD.........
I see now that most part of my christian walk i was religious
In the last decade i started to be more aware that it is not about HAVING AN FATHER solely what it is all about....but about.....HAVING AN RELATIONSHIP WIT JESUS..........TO KNOW THE FATHER .......!!
It is not only an "head thing".......learning the bible...socializing with Christians......!!
But looking at the CROSS, internalizing and praising  JESUS for what He has done and ACCEPTING ( seeing the need putting away proudness...) THAT IT IS DONE FOR ME!!
GOD GAVE HIS SON FOR ME!!
I remember my commitment day...( 20 years ago or so...) The realization made me cry that i needed an SAVIOR.........I accepted ...I wanted to follow and stay and be an child of God.
But it took long to sink in the dept and wide meaning of what GOD DID FOR ME ....
TO GIVE HIS ONE AND ONLY SON.........TO make the way free to Him........To change me to become what He wants me to become....HE WANTS THE BEST FOR ME....!!
HE LOVES and ACCEPTS me for who I Am BUT HE has/have an bigger plan and that part was the part what my eyes where not yet open for..........

God IS THE BEST PARENT who gave everything for HIS CHILDREN...
And I am so Thannkful He accepts me as His child!

" I LOVE YOU"....GOD IS SPEAKING!!

From Extravagat Grace by eLisa @ my intentions for 2010 focus......

Extravagant Grace

Sweet friends, the Lord has laid it on my heart that we need a bit of accountability on this Living Intentionally Together journey. Our first month of 2010 is over, like a vapor, it vanished before our eyes. If we don't pause and take note of where we've been, what we've learned, and where we're heading, we'll find ourselves facing 2011 right where we started 2010 -- hopeful and determined, but potentially disappointed and discourage for having the past year whip by without our intentional participation in the Kingdom of God.

Let's live differently this year!!!

Instead of starting off like gang-busters only to repent at year end, let's pause before the Lord and hear from Him now. Let's invest a little extra time in our Living Intentionally journey by doing the following between now and March 1st...

  1. Spend time reviewing our original Living Intentionally Together post and/or commitments.
  2. Spend time in prayer:
    • Confess before the Lord anything He brings to mind.
    • Praise God for who He is, as we consider His abounding love and extravagant grace.
    • Ask the Lord to be the focus of our heart, mind, and soul as we seek to live intentionally for His glory.

  3. Write a post about what we have learned as a result of spending this time with the Lord and then come back to leave a link below.

If you are just joining in now, please go to this first post about Living Intentionally Together. Feel free to use the resources provided to help you join in now, and be sure to share your commitment post with us at the linky provided here.

I joined in at E-lisa to "Life Intentionally Together....and will reflect the coming week on my inttentions...

I took my prayer from dec 2008 over for this year of 2010

Lord my hope is in You ( ps 39:7) for You are my hope ( ps 71:5) Work in me that i put my hope in your Word ( ps 119: 147).I commit myself to seek You daily. To let Your words be my strenght.

I have a lot of Dreams Lord let me dream the dreams YOU have in mind for me and for my family.

As i know You said " For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are my ways " ( isiah55:8)

This is what You made me realize so let my thoughts and my dreams align with Yours

Lord this year.

My Goals Lord......I want to lay aside every weight, and the sin what so easily stand in the way. I want to run the race that is set before me with endurance......., looking unto JESUS the author and finisher of my faith ( Hebr 12:1-2)

Practicly i will make DAILY time to spend with the Lord.

Online bible study  and studying on the ning page of www.proverbs31.org woman of the bible......

I will commit myself to be aware that I am the hands and the feet of the finisher of my faith in this world Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior!

Amen

I got an YEAR WORD for 2010 in my Moravian Dailytext Devotion

Jesus Comforts His Disciples
1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God(NIV)

Jezus Christus zegt: Wees niet ongerust, geloof in God en geloof in Mij

I know TRUST and RESTING in HIM must be the basis in my striving to live and handle all the different calls in my life...
This is the basis of living intentionally in His power and strenght to bring out all ..The Hopes- Dreams and Goals He has for me and my family!

Join me in following intentioally through this year of 2010 and the coming week untill march 1 to
  1. Spend time reviewing your original intentions and commitments at the beginning of this year

BUTTERFLY @ My daily readings......

Todays i read my commitment psalm again out of the Message version of the bible...

Psalm 27

A David Psalm
1 Light, space, zest— that's God!
So, with him on my side I'm fearless,
afraid of no one and nothing.

2 When vandal hordes ride down
      ready to eat me alive,
   Those bullies and toughs
      fall flat on their faces.

 3 When besieged,
      I'm calm as a baby.
   When all hell breaks loose,
      I'm collected and cool.

4 I'm asking God for one thing,
      only one thing:
To live with him in his house
      my whole life long.
   I'll contemplate his beauty;
      I'll study at his feet.

5 That's the only quiet, secure place
      in a noisy world,
   The perfect getaway,
far from the buzz of traffic.

6 God holds me head and shoulders
above all who try to pull me down.
I'm headed for his place to offer anthems
      that will raise the roof!
   Already I'm singing God-songs;
      I'm making music to God.

I read this after i came across this video of an "Butterfly Story"

Picturing my spiritual growth as the birth of an butterfly.........
Being thankful for the struggles and the breakthroughs in my walk with the Lord.....
Every time i read psalm 27 it boosts my heart and today this translation made it speak new and  afresh to my heart again
Vers 4-5 so true
4 I'm asking God for one thing,
      only one thing:
To live with him in his house
      my whole life long.
   I'll contemplate his beauty;
      I'll study at his feet.

5 That's the only quiet, secure place
      in a noisy world,
   The perfect getaway,
far from the buzz of traffic.

Today's Old Testament Verse

Your people say, “The way of the Lord is not just,” when it is their own way that is not just.
Ezekiel 33:17

Today's New Testament Verse

If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9

Today's Prayer

Lord, I am thankful that you are faithful and just! When I fail and want to walk away, you draw me near. Remind me that, even when I may not understand and may lose the will to stand, you will never let go of me. You have sealed me to you by your Water and Word forever.
Giver of life, we confess that we do not always live up to your teaching
and example. Forgive us and help us to live so that we always share your
love and goodness with others. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Fearles Friday ~ PRAYING>>>>>>>The Kitchen: God's Abundant Table~

Photobucket

Good morning my friends It's Fearless Friday and our host is at "Free Spirit Haven"

Last week i missed making an blogpost due to bussyness and not blogging last week so much
I pray that all is well in your world
let's pray together and lift up all the request up to the lord and join hands together in prayer.
Let's hold on to the promises God gave to us.
We look forward to healing,restoration.
We have only God to cling to.

This morning i read an good post "Up Words from Max Lucado" and want to leave you with this
Have an good day in the Lord and an blessed weekend.

Week of February 19
The Kitchen: God's Abundant Table
by Max Lucado

"Give us this day our daily bread..."

Your first step into the house of God was not to the kitchen but to the living room, where you were reminded of your adoption. "OurFather who is in heaven." You then studied the foundation of the house, where you pondered his permanence. "Our Father who is in heaven." Next you entered the observatory and marveled at his handiwork: "Our Father who is in heaven." In the chapel, you worshiped his holiness: "Hallowed be thy name." In the throne room, you touched the lowered scepter and prayed the greatest prayer, "Thy kingdom come." In the study, you submitted your desires to his and prayed, "Thy will be done." And all of heaven was silent as you placed your prayer in the furnace, saying, "on earth as it is in heaven."
Proper prayer follows such a path, revealing God to us before revealing our needs to God. (You might reread that one.) The purpose of prayer is not to change God, but to change us, and by the time we reach God's kitchen, we are changed people. Wasn't our heart warmed when we called him Father? Weren't our fears stilled when we contemplated his constancy? Weren't we amazed as we stared at the heavens?
Seeing his holiness caused us to confess our sin. Inviting his kingdom to come reminded us to stop building our own. Asking God for his will to be done placed our will in second place to his. And realizing that heaven pauses when we pray left us breathless in his presence.
By the time we step into the kitchen, we're renewed people! We've been comforted by our father, conformed by his nature, consumed by our creator, convicted by his character, constrained by his power, commissioned by our teacher, and compelled by his attention to our prayers.
The prayer's next three petitions encompass all of the concerns of our life. "This daily bread" addresses the present. "Forgive our sins" addresses the past. "Lead us not into temptation" speaks to the future. (The wonder of God's wisdom: how he can reduce all our needs to three simple statements.)
First he addresses our need for bread. The term means all of a person's physical needs. Martin Luther defined bread as "Everything necessary for the preservation of this life, including food, a healthy body, house, home, wife and children." This verse urges us to talk to God about the necessities of life. He may also give us the luxuries of life, but he certainly will grant the necessities.
Any fear that God wouldn't meet our needs was left in the observatory. Would he give the stars their glitter and not give us our food? Of course not. He has committed to care for us. We aren't wrestling crumbs out of a reluctant hand, but rather confessing the bounty of a generous hand. The essence of the prayer is really an affirmation of the Father's care. Our provision is his priority.

"The Story of
St. Valentine"

 St. Valentine was a Christian
back when it was against the
Roman law. There was a law that
everyone had to worship the
emperor.
Christians worshiped only Jesus.
That seemed strange to the people in
Rome. And any time something went wrong
back then, folks needed someone to blame.

 The emperor had
Valentine beaten with
sticks because he would
not worship the emperor.
Valentine didn't fight
back because that's not
the way of Jesus.
So Valentine was thrown
in jail.

Valentine's jailer was
called Asterius.
He worshipped the emperor
like everyone else.
But Valentine wouldn't
stop talking to him about
Jesus.
He sang about Jesus;
he prayed to Jesus.
Asterius started to get interested.
Now Asterius had a blind daughter.
"If your Jesus can heal my little girl,
" said Asterius,"then I'll believe in
 Him."

Valentine prayed and the child
got her sight.
And Asterius was so
happy
that he and his
whole
family became
Christians.

"MY TRUE VALENTINE"

Jesus is my true
Valentine.

His heart was
pierced for me.

I cannot tell why He loved me so
 well,

But He proved it on Calvary

THAN SING MY SOUL SATURDAY ~ YOU are not ALONE....~

You're Not Alone

I search for love
When the night came and it closed in
I was alone
but you found me where I was hiding
and now I'll never ever be the same
It was the sweetest voice that called my name
saying

You're not alone
for I am here
let me wipe away your every fear
My love I've never left your side
I have seen you through the darkest night
and I'm the one who's loved you all your life
All of your life

You cry yourself to sleep
cause the hurt is real
and the pain cuts deep
All hope seems lost
With heartache your closest friend
and everyone else long gone

You've had to face the music on your own
but there is a sweeter song that calls you home
saying

You're not alone
for I am here
let me wipe away your every tear
My love I've never left your side
I have seen you through the darkest nights
And I'm the one who's loved you all your life
All your life

Faithful and true... Forever
For my love will carry you....

You're not alone
for I... I am here
let me wipe away every fear... Oh yeah
My love I've never left your side
I have seen you through your darkest night
Your darkest night
And I'm the one who's loved you all your life
All of your life

I love to see the thoughts of the artist at the back of the song

An simple version with gitar and vocal is also beautiful and touching

WFW ~ Proverbs 21:2,3 @ dayverses~

http://api.ning.com/files/XT2Ka95IVbWannyCCVshD2NaruDJgTntdJt-*2keIfc_/Proverbs21_3.jpg

Today's Old Testament Verse

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

Today's New Testament Verse

Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Hebrews 13:16

Today's Prayer

Gracious Lord of Purpose, thank you for creating the good that we can live for, sacrifice for, and be blessed by. Living Fearlessly in 2010 – Part 2 or The ‘What Ifs…’~ Receiving P-P-S~

“And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.” And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.” ~ Matthew 8:23-26 (ESV)

‘Imagine your life wholly untouched by angst. What if faith, not fear, was your default reaction to threats? If you could hover a fear magnet over your heart and extract every last shaving of dread, insecurity, and doubt, what would remain? Envision a day, just one day, absent the dread of failure, rejection, and calamity. Can you imagine a life with no fear?’ ~ Max Lucado

Can I imagine a life without fear? Can you?
Are you battling any “what ifs…” right now?

This is what i read in PART 2 of " Living fearlessly in 2010" @ "GRACE ALONE"

Imagining an Life without Fear??
I believe we as humans have fear put in us since the beginning of time...........NOT BY GOD but by the deceiver........our enemy who wants to rob what God intend for us........

In the bible i heard you can find for EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR an phrase with "FEAR NOT" ( he reference to not having fear)
365 times
" FEAR NOT"
God's Word commands us this

The only fear in the Bible is the fear of God. Fear is the enemy of confidence. Fear not means don't run.
(Joyce Meyer Do it Afraid).

God gaves us the
solution
JESUS

CALLING
on
HIM!!

When  those thoughts are crossing my mind

WHAT IF
" I can't make end meets end of the month"
" I get an sickness"
"I can't take care of my kids"
" I can't do my job anymore"
" My daughter/son makes the wrong choices"
" I can't.........."
Name it...........

We need to go on our knees calling out to Him
Who gives
PEACE
POWER
and
STRENGHT

I remember an time in my marriage .......
Mother of young toddlers
Feeling insecure as wife and mother.......
One day the thought crossed my mind to speak out only the
WORD JESUS

Because i felt even to tired to pray
( i was deceived because the enemy was making me think that i can't pray well when feeling anxcious and tired)

But only saying the WORD
closing my eyes
or
even
crying and shouting it out.
HE HEARD

He is faithfull and hears
"Call unto Him, and He will save you out of the bondage of fear.."
Romans 10:13
for, "Everyone who
calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Tomorrow FRIDAY is an special day set apart by Bloggers.
It is  FEARLESS FRIDAY

The "home" is at "Free Spirit Haven"
Let's go on our knees and receive P(eace) -P(ower)-S(trenght)

How to Celebrate February 14 Every Day of the Year : "PLAYING THE QUARTET"

1st Monday Every Month at Chrysalis

Want this button?
The “Us” Factor

This month, your challenge is to share how you and your husband make each and every day of your marriage special. What are your daily relationship rituals? How do you nurture the “us” factor? Tell us the big or little things that make your marriage sing like a fine-tuned violin. A few examples:

This is the question asked at CHRYSALIS by E-mom

I was not planning to make an post ,that is also the reason i am so late in joining ....
But while looking around what i missed in those days i was not online due to busyness...I came across this topic......

The question asked made me wonder..
"What is it THAT makes each and everyday of my marriage SPECIAL and what are the big and little things that makes my marriage sing like a fine-tuned violin"!!??
I must tell you i was laughing while  picturing my marriage as an instrument.....

http://www.cartoonstock.com/lowres/ndi0911l.jpg

Well the sound we played in those nearly 17 years was not sounding  always like an fine-tuned violin!! ( Or playing an quartet on the piano..)
Looking back i see us making sounds that scared us and probably our kids maybe also the loved once around us.......We even wanted to trow away the instrument......

But we both can thank God now on our bare knees for knitting US together and FINE-TUNING our instrument of marriage........
The sounds we are playing are tunes of
  1. ACCEPTANCE of eachother for who we are. Give the "wanting to CHANGE THE OTHER" to God in PRAYER.
  2. Showing INTEREST in eachother opinions and LISTENING while communicating. Not believing anymore that our way is the high way.
  3. Surging for "The LOVE LANGUAGE " of the other
Those where/are some things that helped us....

What i initially fell in love with about my husband is his character to be PASSIONATE and HONEST.
This stayed in our whole marriage. In the times we where not well tuned the devil tried to use those character traits for the worse but. We conquered Him to submit to eachother and to God in prayer and let our life be led by Him........

Is see his passion now in when he works hard daily and make long days because He cares about his family

I see his passion when he calls me frequently.

I see his passion when he serves me breakfast in bed to make waking up in the morning easier for me because i am really "a night owl"

I see his passion to care for us when he wants to cook in the weekend or even early mornings or midnight when he comes late home......I do not see it anymore that he is not liking my cooking but he wants to add his skills to mine......

Because of knowing i can rely on what he is saying because he always speaks out of his heart......
I started to learn to listen more attentively and take his advice or do something with his opinion because our husbands are the once who are the closest to us and know us without our 'masks" on.......

My husband loves me to spoil him WITH ATTENTION when he is around
Making time....planning time........not always putting our kids first!!

In communication making clear i hear and i understand him....giving compliments or speaking out appreciation, frequently for the simple things we take for granted!

I can say now full hearthedly " I LOVE MY HUSBAND and I KNOW ( and i know that i know....) HE LOVES ME"!!

You all know i love to put alot of verses on My Journey and love to add the verses E-mom put in her blogpost about verses about KISSING.....
It made me laugh because the child in us made us keep on kissing and longing for kissing an very important part to stay fine-tuned...

So to read those verses made me praise God for His wisdom found in His word!

1. The slobbery kiss…
But Esau ran to meet Jacob and embraced him; he threw his arms around his neck and kissed him. And they wept. (Gen 33:4)

2. The cheek peck…
“Greet one another with a holy kiss.” (Rom 16:16)

3. The passionate kiss…

"She took hold of him and kissed him and with a brazen face she said…" (Prov 7:13)
4.
The woodpecker…

“Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.” (Prov 27:6)

5. The tender kiss…
"Then Jacob kissed Rachel and began to weep aloud."

6. The grab 'em by the beard (but no biting) kiss…
“Joab said to Amasa, ‘How are you, my brother?’ Then Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.”
(2 Sam 20:9)

7. The kiss of humility…
As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. (Luke 7:38)

8. The “Dahlingk, I’m home!” kiss…
"Greet one another with a kiss of love." (1 Pet 5:14)

Today's New Testament Verse

Today's Prayer

Thank you, Father, for sending your Son to save us. He has removed the blindness in which we once walked so that we can see and hear you as the God who loves us by giving yourself for our sake. Let that love flow with renewed power and grace through us to others today.
Lord Jesus, make us aware of your subtle, redeeming presence. You are
Lord of the nations, yet closer to us than our own breath. Renew our
hearts to embrace the majesty and simplicity of your joy. Amen.

Will you join me in prayer and praise for what we are dealing with? Cancer is a scary thing and we need our friends and family to join in prayer regarding the outcome of this, that it's as good as the news we've heard so far, that the surgery goes well, that the recovery is speedy and easy.
Thank you,

WFW ~ GOD'S FAVOR more worth than...........~

I love God so much my friends how He is talking this age in time to our hearts and want to bring His message to us and the world!

This morning my mind was going over the daily things and was bussy at home...
I came to sit overhere with my cup of coffee taking an break and was thinking " Today is wednesday, what verse and image shall i put up for "WFW""? " Shall i join or shall i not join"?
I was more leaning not to this week because i felt the pressure to go further with the job i was doing. ( My cup of coffe was finished..LOL)

Than an song on an internet station from Kirk Franklin caught my attention...
" Silver and Gold....I rather have Jesus..."
Like i heard an voice saying THIS MESSAGE you must picture today........" Do YOU agree with this what this artist ( brother) is singing"?
God touched my heart with this because He knows EVERY thought we have........
Because the whole morning i was re-arrange the house looking at our furniture ( belongings) and thinking.....that material wise we have fare lesser than maybe 10 years ago.......And i was wondering than despite this i am so at peace and know are SURE that all will be restored again........
I could not comprehend or bring it under words THIS realization but knew I have PEACE so God is in all of this...( Emanuel...God with us...)

And not even an hour further He speaks to me and i know to you because He wants to bring this message to His children.....
My favor is on your life, wonderful things will happen to you and for you. Favor will take you where nothing else can take you. Favor can open doors and prevent calamity. Favor can help you do more with less. Favor can make a way where there is no way!

He sent me to look for an image and verse and i found this picture and message in this devotion  ( also an good read full of encouragement and wisdom out of God's Word)

My friends be blessed this WFW

Psalm 17:8-15 Genesis 27:1-29; Matthew 10:1-16

Surely he has borne our infirmities and carried our diseases; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. Isaiah 53:4

You know that he was revealed to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. 1John 3:5

Redeeming God, you offer abundant life to all your children. We long to
receive your pardon and protection. Fill us with faith to believe in
your total redemption, even as we struggle to understand the good news
of your all-embracing salvation.

Thank you, Father, for doing the impossible — your Son bears my sin. What a gift for me that my ugly sin is what Jesus takes, while I get his beauty in return! I’m sorry that I’ve failed to speak of all that he has done for me. Today remind me what a friend I have in Jesus!  Amen.

Spiritual Sunday's

Sunday, January 24

Third Sunday after the Epiphany

Watchword for the Week --
 Let the words
of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord,
my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14

Today's Old Testament Verse

You have set my feet in a broad place.
Psalm 31:8

Today's New Testament Verse
Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord.”
John 20:18

Today's Prayer

How blessed are my feet, Lord! Thanks for placing me in your presence, where my eyes can see and my ears can hear. How blessed it is to be in that company of saints who hear your promises and depend on you in all things. Help me announce to others the way to this broad place with you.

Brother Jesus, open our eyes to see you face to face in the familiarity

of our homes, congregations, and in our places of work and play.
Surprise us with glimpses of your passion and grace where we least
expect to see you. Amen.

For more spiritual sundays
Blessings.

QUOTE from LYSA TERKEUST!! (from " A MESS")
I'm convinced there's a reason the first four letters of Messiah spell mess. We need Him. Only the Messiah can take our mess and turn it into a untangled message of hope, forgiveness, and ultimately love.
