We got the reminder of this message again this Christmas, let us blow our pipe fervently in this world!
Love this blogpost
Towards Epiphany …
Has it passed then,
this once a year reminder
of a God who drew close?
And did it touch you,
that message of hope?
Or did it simply
pass you by, lost
in a mess
of lights
and coloured papers;
hunger for truth
sated by rich foods?
Has it passed,
or do you hear on the wind
the cry of a babe
who calls you
to worship,
and wonder?
Will you seek him,
beyond the lights,
beneath the trappings
and wrappings
that mask
his glory?
It has not passed,
it does not pass,
for this tale
of a God who drew close
is both timeless and eternal…
…and his star still shines
drawing and calling
the wise to follow…
