  • Day 29: Seeking Wisdom and Discernment
  • Day 30: Growing in Faith
I was planning to write blogposts about my reading experiences but i find it difficult to translate from my dutch version.....to english on the blog....
But what i love about the prayers is that all are SCRIPTURAL PRAYERS! I believe that that is the clue to bring POWER in our prayers.......Because God says it in His Word that what He speaks( says) will never turn back void to Him! So when we speak out those scriptures out over our children. Gods power will began to work in their lives and we will see the fruits of His Spirit eventually and bondages will be broken and an hedge of protection comes over them......

I googled this evening scriptural prayers in english and stumble on the website INTERCESSORS FOR A RIGHTEOUS NATION .They divide the prayers for everyday of the week
Tonight i will post the prayer for MONDAY.......I don't know if i will post for every day but you can look it also up. I know that reading them out loud and hear it is so powerful and inspiring to speak them over the preciouse gifts received by God .......

MONDAY

Thank You, Father, that as I speak Your Word over my children today, Your angelic warriors are
hearkening to the sound of my voice to perform that which I speak. (Psalm 103:20).

Thank You, Father, that You have put Your words in my mouth, and You are alert and active,
watching over Your Word to PERFORM it. (Jeremiah 1:9, 12).

Thank You, Father, that as I speak Your Word over my children, it is cleansing and pruning
them; and as a result, they are bearing fruit of more excellent quality and greater quantity. (John
15:2-3).

Thank You, Father, that the words of wisdom which You give me to speak over my children are
as prodding goads (urging them to ACTION), firmly fixed in their minds like nails. (Ecclesiastes
12:11).

Father, I declare that ALL of my children are disciples, taught of You and OBEDIENT to YOUR
WILL; GREAT is their PEACE and UNDISTURBED COMPOSURE. They are establishing
themselves on righteousness. They are far even from the THOUGHT of OPPRESSION or
DESTRUCTION. They DO NOT FEAR. They are far from terror, for it does NOT come near
them. He who stirs up strife against them is failing away TO them. NO weapon that is formed
against them is prospering. EVERY tongue that rises against them in judgment they are showing
to be in the wrong. (Isaiah 54:13-15,17).

Father, I declare that because of our faith, our children are prepared for You, PURE and CLEAN.
You are blotting out their transgressions for Your own sake, and You DO NOT remember their
sins. (I Corinthians 7:14; Isaiah 43:25).

Father, I declare that I am, a JOYFUL MOTHER of children, and because (my
husband fears, I fear) You, (I am, he is) like a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of (his, my)
house and (his, my) children are like olive plants round about (his, my) table, and (he, I) shall see
(his, my) children's children. (Psalm 113:9; Psalm 128:3-4).

Thank You, Father, that You are changing my family's impure language and giving to us a clear
and pure speech from pure lips; therefore, we are ALL calling upon Your Name, serving You
with ONE UNANIMOUS CONSENT and ONE UNITED SHOULDER, bearing the yoke of the
Lord. As for ME and MY house, we ARE serving YOU, Lord. (Zephaniah 3:9; Joshua 24:15).

Thank You. Father, that my children are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation;
Your own purchased, special people. Therefore, I decree that they are setting forth Your
wonderful deeds and displaying Your virtues and perfections, for You have called them out of
darkness into Your marvelous light. Because they are precious and honored in Your sight, and
You LOVE them, You are giving men in return for them and peoples in exchange for their lives.
(I Peter 2:9; Isaiah 43:4).

Thank You, Father, that You CHOSE and formed FOR YOURSELF my children that they might
set forth Your praise, and THEY SHALL DO IT. (Isaiah 43:20-21).

Thank You, Father, that YOU, the God of Peace, are strengthening, completing, perfecting and
making my children what they ought to be. YOU are equipping them with everything good that
they may CARRY OUT YOUR WILL; while YOU Yourself work IN them and accomplish that
which is pleasing in Your sight. (Hebrews 13:20-21).

Father, I declare that my children walk at liberty and at ease because they have sought, inquired
for and desperately required Your precepts. (Psalm 119:45).

Father, I declare that my children are being filled with the full, deep and clear knowledge of Your
will, in all spiritual wisdom and comprehensive insight into Your ways and purposes; and in
understanding and discernment of spiritual things. They are walking, living and conducting
themselves in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing to You and DESIRING to please You in
ALL things. They are bearing fruit in EVERY good work, and steadily growing and increasing
in and by the knowledge of You. They are being invigorated and strengthened with all power
according to the might of Your glory, and exercising every kind of endurance and patience WITH
JOY. (Colossians 1:9-11).

Thank You, Father, that You are granting out of the rich treasury of Your glory, that my children
be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in their inner man by the Holy Spirit
indwelling their innermost beings and personalities. Christ, through their faith, is making his
permanent home in their hearts. They are being rooted deep in love and founded securely on
love; therefore, they have the power and are strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints, the
EXPERIENCE of that love, what is the breadth and length and height and depth of it. They are
really coming to KNOW, practically, THROUGH EXPERIENCE for THEMSELVES, the love
of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience. As a result, they are being
filled through all their beings unto all Your fullness. They have the richest measure of Your
Divine Presence, and have become wholly filled and flooded with You. (Ephesians 3:16-19).

Father, I declare that my children NEVER lag in zeal and earnest endeavor. They are aglow and
burning with the Spirit, serving You. (Romans 12:11).

Thank You, Father, that my children earnestly remember YOU, their Creator—that they are not
their own—but YOUR property—NOW—in the days of their YOUTH. They no longer live to
and for THEMSELVES, but to and for Your Son, JESUS, Who died and was raised again for
their sakes. They roll their works upon You, Father. They commit and trust them wholly to You.
YOU ARE CAUSING THEIR THOUGHTS TO BECOME AGREEABLE TO YOUR WILL.
Therefore, their plans are being established and succeeding. (Ecclesiastes 12:1; II Corinthians
5:15; Proverbs 16:3).

Father, I declare that my children are consecrated, separated and set apart for PURE and HOLY
LIVING. They abstain and shrink from ALL sexual vice. They each know how to possess,
control and manage their own bodies in PURITY, separated from things profane and in
consecration and honor. Their bodies are NOT used in the passion of lust. (I Thessalonians
4:3-5).

Thank You, Father, that You have NOT given my children a spirit FEAR, but of power,
authority, love, a calm, well-balanced mind, discipline and self-control. They DO NOT BLUSH
nor are they ASHAMED to testify for You. (II Timothy 1:7-8).

Father, I declare that my children set NO base or wicked thing before their eyes. They HATE the
work of them who turn aside from the right path. IT SHALL NOT GRASP HOLD OF THEM.
A perverse heart has departed from them. They know NO evil person or thing. (Psalm 101:3-4).

Father, I declare that my children DO NOT forget Your law, but they LET their hearts keep Your
commandments; therefore, LENGTH OF DAYS, and years of a life worth living, and tranquility
—inward and outward—and continuing through old age till death, are added to them. They are
FULL of mercy and kindness, shutting out ALL hatred and selfishness. They are FULL of truth,
shutting out ALL deliberate hypocrisy and falsehood. Because they bind Your laws about their
necks and write them upon the tablets of their hearts, they have found favor, good understanding
and high esteem in Your sight, and in the sight of man. They lean on, trust and are confident in
You with ALL their hearts and minds, and they DO NOT rely on their own insight or
understanding. In ALL their ways, they know, recognize and acknowledge You, and You are
directing and making straight and plain their paths. They are NOT wise in their own eyes, but
they reverently fear and worship You, and turn ENTIRELY away from evil. (Proverbs 3:1-7).

Thank You, Father, that Your TRUTH and FAITHFULNESS are a shield and buckler to my
children. They are NOT afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots of the
wicked) that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and
sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at their side, and ten
thousand at their right hand, BUT IT SHALL NOT COME NEAR THEM. (Psalm 91:4b-7).

The Tongue.........~ OUR WORDS ~

“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” Proverbs 18:21 (NIV). “With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters [and girlfriends] this should not be” (James 3:9-10 TNIV). A careless word may kindle strife; A cruel word may wreck a life. A bitter word may hate instill; A brutal word may smite and kill. A gracious word may smooth the way; A joyous word may light the day. A timely word may lessen stress; A loving word may heal and bless. (Author Unknown) I study and meditate this morning on those questions A word has been described as the smallest unit of meaningful linguistic communication. But that little tiny entity has great potential.

Read James 3:2-6 and answer the following questions.

How is the tongue like the rudder of a ship?

Who is the ship? (There is not necessarily a right answer.)

On any given day, there are many travelers on our ship (our families and friends) or people we pass on the waterways of life. How do our words carry people along the same route we are traveling? How do our words maneuver or bump into those that are passing by?

Read the following verses and fill in the blanks:

Genesis 1:3 And _______ _______, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed ___ _________ ______________so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Psalm 33:6 By the ______________________ were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.

What did you discover about the power of God’s words?

Now, on a similar note, what can you surmise about the power of your own words?

Throughout the day, ask yourself this question: Did my words build up or tear down?

Stand on The Rock

Words and music: Keith Lancaster © 1993 Anthony K. Music (ASCAP)
Duane Adams also sang 1st Tenor on this song.
This song also appeared on Set Me Free by Acappella.
Lead: Duane Adams

Lyrics:

Chorus:
Stand on the rock
Movin' a mountain
With faith even small as a seed
And there on the rock
His love like a fountain
Giving me all that I ever will need

Pain - I have experienced pain
Too many hurts in my life
Were bringing terrible strife
I have experienced pain
But Jesus is my refuge
And I know He's paid His dues
So now I have a savior who has
Walked within my shoes (he has walked within my shoes)

Repeat Chorus

Love - Have you experienced love?
Too many people will hate
Reaping a terrible fate
They won't experience love
But Jesus is my anchor
He's defining what is love
I'm happy that He's teaching me and
taking me above

Repeat Chorus

When you step out on the sinking sand
Putting your faith in mortal man
Life has no direction, life will see no gain
Lacking love and helpless on your
own you will remain

But when you trust in Jesus Christ
Who is the Author of true life
He's the door to go through, all you do is knock
He'll be there to guide you when
You're standing on the rock

Repeat Chorus 2x

Scriptural Reference:

"Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal." Isaiah 26:4
"He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20

Melanie Chitwood

"Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us." Psalm 62:8 (NAS)

The thunder and lightning of a powerful storm rattled our house last night. As rain slashed against the windows and lightning lit up the dark sky, I woke up just long enough to make room for my youngest son and yellow lab to join me and my husband in bed. I remember thinking with surprise that I didn't even know it was going to storm.

What a picture of my life lately. It's been a year of unexpected rain. Some just drizzles, but others, like the storm hitting me most recently, have rattled windows with wave after wave of thunder and bursts of lightning.

What about you? Is there stormy weather in your life right now? Where are you finding shelter from the storms?

My friends and family have been a shelter for me this year, just like my family was last night as we all huddled together in bed. They've encouraged and supported me. And most importantly, they've pointed me to the strongest shelter from the storms, my Heavenly Father.

As I've turned to Scripture this week, I'm amazed at the number of times it reminds us God is our shelter. God knows that we will encounter hard times and His Word reminds us that the strongest and safest shelter is God Himself.

As always we have a choice: get drenched in the rain or seek shelter. You see, the storms of life can cause us to run toward God, but just as easily they can cause us to turn away. A whole range of emotions can leave us standing in the rain to get drenched: bitterness, anger, confusion, helplessness, or hopelessness. If you can relate to these emotions, you might feel badly for having these emotions, but don't let these feelings keep you from God.

Read the Psalms and you'll see that God can handle every emotion. Negative emotions are not a reason to turn away from God. They're the very reason to turn to Him, desperately wanting the kind of faith and strength only God can provide.

Keep turning to God, continue to tell Him in prayer how you feel, and leave your emotions with Him. As you do, you'll start to feel His nearness, His hope, His promise, and His comfort. If you find yourself returning to feelings of fear or hopelessness, just go back to God. Be honest in your prayers. Acknowledge that you're having a hard time, but that you want to trust Him in your circumstances. Know that He loves you and will consistently and constantly be your shelter from the storms.

Dear Lord, "Hear my cry, O God; give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy. Let me dwell in Your tent forever; let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings" (Psalm 61:1-4, NAS). In Jesus' Name, Amen.

My Day word @ THE POWER OF A PRAYING "PARENT"

Wednesday, September 2

Psalm 105:8-15
Jeremiah 32:16-33:5; 2 Timothy 3:10-4:8

If you will only obey the Lord your God... Blessed shall you be when you come
in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. Deuteronomy 28:1,6

Christ says, "Very truly, I tell you, whoever keeps my word will never see
death." John 8:51

Faithful God, we are fearful of death, and it is so often because we are
disobedient. Help us to see that in obedience we find a new life not fearful of
death nor overcome by death. Bless us as we go out and come in this day so we
may keep your word in all we do and say. Amen.

Stormie revisits her bestselling book for parents (more than 1.5 million copies sold) by adding some new material and the wisdom gleaned from even more years of being a mom. After decades of raising her own children along with her husband, Michael, she looks back at the trials and joys of parenting and the power found in praying for her kids. In 30 easy–to–read chapters, Stormie shares from personal experience as to how parents can pray for their children’s
safety, character development, peer pressure, school experiences, godly friends, relationship with God, health and safety, and having wisdom, discernment, faith, and a good future, among other things. Stormie’s grown–up children reflect on the way their praying parents raised them—and what a difference it made. There are thirty short, easy to read chapters, each one going into detail about a different area of prayer focus that will help any parent learn how to powerfully pray through every age and stage of their child’s life.

Yesterday started the 30th days of reading initiated at " DANDELION SEEDS" on the fan site of
SHMILY TIME you can find the latest information because Amy is in the middle of moving.

This morning i read the 1st two chapters out of the dutch version
1 PARENTS WHO PRAY
2 IN GODS HANDS

For now i want to leave you with a quote of the writer:
"Being a perfect parent doesn't matter. Being a praying parent does." (Stormie Omartian)

And the verses of both chapter. Those verses she called "The wapens for the war"!
Because it is a "war" what is going on in the spiritual realm for the souls of our kids!
God has a perfect plan for them but Satan will do his utmost to destroy the plan and will trow everything in this battle to succeed; drugs,sex,alcohol,rebellion,accidents,sicknesses....( all this quoted from the book but i so agree and see it happening daily with kids...)

But the POWER we have in our hands GODS WORD and to speak out those verses out over our kids ( and the kids in our family's or in our community and every kid God put on our hearts!)

John 15

16 You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.

Proverbs 20

7 The godly walk with integrity;
blessed are their children who follow them.

John 14

13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it!

Ephesians 6

4 Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.

17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere

Matthew7

11 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

Psalm 103

17 But the love of the Lord remains forever
with those who fear him.
His salvation extends to the children’s children
18 of those who are faithful to his covenant,
of those who obey his commandments!

Psalm 127:3

3 Children are a gift from the Lord;
they are a reward from him.

1John 3

21 Dear friends, if we don’t feel guilty, we can come to God with bold confidence. 22 And we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him.

Isiaha 65

23 They will not work in vain,
and their children will not be doomed to misfortune.
For they are people blessed by the Lord,
and their children, too, will be blessed.

WFW ~ Isaiah 1-2~

Isaiah 5 ( The Message version)

1-2 I'll sing a ballad to the one I love, a love ballad about his vineyard: The one I love had a vineyard, a fine, well-placed vineyard. He hoed the soil and pulled the weeds, and planted the very best vines. He built a lookout, built a winepress, a vineyard to be proud of.He looked for a vintage yield of grapes, but for all his pains he got junk grapes.

Deuteronomy 1:26-42 (The Message)

Rebellion Against the LORD
26 But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. 27 You grumbled in your tents and said, "The LORD hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us. 28 Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, 'The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there.' "

29 Then I said to you, "Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. 30 The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, 31 and in the desert. There you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place."

32 In spite of this, you did not trust in the LORD your God, 33 who went ahead of you on your journey, in fire by night and in a cloud by day, to search out places for you to camp and to show you the way you should go.

34 When the LORD heard what you said, he was angry and solemnly swore: 3536 except Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the LORD wholeheartedly." "Not a man of this evil generation shall see the good land I swore to give your forefathers,

37 Because of you the LORD became angry with me also and said, "You shall not enter it, either. 38 But your assistant, Joshua son of Nun, will enter it. Encourage him, because he will lead Israel to inherit it. 39 And the little ones that you said would be taken captive, your children who do not yet know good from bad—they will enter the land. I will give it to them and they will take possession of it. 40 But as for you, turn around and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea. a]">[a] "

41 Then you replied, "We have sinned against the LORD. We will go up and fight, as the LORD our God commanded us." So every one of you put on his weapons, thinking it easy to go up into the hill country.

42 But the LORD said to me, "Tell them, 'Do not go up and fight, because I will not be with you. You will be defeated by your enemies.' "

43 So I told you, but you would not listen. You rebelled against the LORD's command and in your arrogance you marched up into the hill country. 44 The Amorites who lived in those hills came out against you; they chased you like a swarm of bees and beat you down from Seir all the way to Hormah. 45 You came back and wept before the LORD, but he paid no attention to your weeping and turned a deaf ear to you. 46 And so you stayed in Kadesh many days—all the time you spent there.

Today God is talking to me through different blogs and sermons on the radio!

Yesterday i told you about the picture i got about the process of pruning in myself!

It is like "the soil of my soul is up-rooted weeds need to get out the root of those weeds need to be destroyed!

I was reflecting about some weeds in my life......?

Being upset easily....,moody........What is upsetting me.....When does i get upset?

When things are not going my way....i love to give instructions to my kids and HOW they must do it!!??

Frequently i asked my husband to do something but also with how to because....otherwise.......

I get upset when it is done differently and ESPECIALLY when it goes WRONG!!

" Did i not tell you....did i not warn you that....."!!??

This is so exhausting .....i feel myself like a "police" or like a judge in disputing situations.....but how i come in those situations??

I give myself this position...

Why what is the ROOT of this controlling behavior......??

FEAR

of what??

Giving TRUST.........

To GOD ABOVE ALL ( that He made my loved ones and is leading them...)

and

not TRUSTING my love ones to be capable

or THINK i can prevent them from....

This is also FEAR!!

FEAR IS REBELLION AGAINST GOD!!

I heard this today in a sermon with above verse as example.......

FEAR in you TOUCHED EVERYBODY YOU COME IN CONTACT WITH!!

Because of this rebellion FEAR they did not enter the land promised to their fore- fathers

The kids they where worrying about will enter and Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the LORD wholeheartedly."

and Joshua son of Nun.

EYEOPENER

My weed of controlling....

comes of my SIN to FEAR this is THE ROOT!!

I want to enjoy My fathers promises for me and my family ...

No negative words spoken to eachother

No putting of guilt on eachother ( is this not what the enemy LOVE to make us feel guilty to accuse us of.....!)

The PEACE of God will come in!

Father God forgive me my sin of FEAR my rebellion against your WORD of LOVE and TRUST. Grant me your PEACE, LOVE and everything of your spirit what will give no space for this FEAR.May i follow you wholeheartedly!

I love You Lord and i thank You for Your forgiveness. That i may know i can leave this spirit of Fear and all that it works out in my life at Your feet at the cross. You died for this on the cross and I'm dead for this sin thus your word say Lord.Resurrect in my life and my behavior and attitudes Trust....acts of trust...Put words of trust and affirmation in my mind and on my tongue. This i pray in Jesus name Amen.

This is a BEAUTY a must read!!

THIS IS A TERRIFIC STORY, BUT YOU MUST READ IT, DON'T JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!!

Puppy Size
This is one of the neatest stories you will ever hear. You will know precisely what this little girl is talking about at the end (you'll want to share this one with your loved ones and special friends)!

'Danielle keeps repeating it over and over again. We've been back to this animal shelter at least five times. It has been weeks now since we started all of this,' the mother told the volunteer.

'What is it she keeps asking for?' the volunteer asked.
'Puppy size!' replied the mother

'Well, we have plenty of puppies, if that's what she's looking for.' 'I know..... we have seen most of them, ' the mom said in frustration...

Just then Danielle came walking into the office

'Well, did you find one?' asked her mom.

'No, not this time,' Danielle said with sadness in her voice. 'Can we come back on the weekend?'

The two women looked at each other, shook their heads and laughed

'You never know when we will get more dogs. Unfortunately, there's always a supply,' the volunteer said.

Danielle took her mother by the hand and headed to the door. 'Don't worry, I'll find one this weekend,' she
said.

Over the next few days both Mom and Dad had long conversations with her. They both felt she was being too particular. 'It's this weekend or
we're not looking any more,' Dad finally said in frustration.

'We don't want to hear anything more about puppy size, either,' Mom added.

Sure enough, they were the first ones in the shelter on Saturday morning . By now Danielle knew her way around, so she ran right for the section that housed the smaller dogs.

Tired of the routine, mom sat in the small waiting room at the end of the first row of cages. There was an observation window so you could see the animals during times when visitors weren't permitted.

Danielle walked slowly from cage to cage, kneeling periodically to take a closer look. One by one the dogs were brought out and she held each one.
One by one she said, 'Sorry, but you're not the one.'

It was the last cage on this last day in search of the perfect pup. The volunteer opened the cage door and the child carefully picked up the dog and held it closely. This time she took a little longer.

'Mom, that's it! I found the right puppy! He's the one! I know it!' She screamed with joy. 'It's the puppy size!'

'But it's the same size as all the other puppies you held over the last few weeks,' Mom said.

'No not size.. The sighs. When I held him in my arms, he sighed,' she said.
'Don't you remember? When I asked you one day what love is, you told me love depends on the sighs of your heart. The more you love, the bigger the sigh!'

The two women looked at each other for a moment. Mom didn't know whether to laugh or cry. As she stooped down to hug the child, she did a little of both.

'Mom, every time you hold me, I sigh. When you and Daddy come home from work and hug each other, you both sigh. I knew I would find the right puppy if it sighed when I held it in my arms,' she said. Then, holding the puppy up close to her face, she said, 'Mom, he loves me. I heard the sighs of his heart!'

Close your eyes for a moment and think about the love that
makes you sigh. I not only find it in the arms of my loved ones, but in the caress of a sunset, the kiss of the moonlight and the gentle brush of cool air on a hot day. They are the sighs of God. Take the time to stop and listen; you will be surprised at what you hear. 'Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.'

I hope your life is filled with Sighs!!!

Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends! Life is too short and friends are too few

DAY VERSES ~ READ ALONG~

Psalm 105

1-6 Hallelujah! Thank
God! Pray to him by name!
Tell everyone you meet what he has done!
Sing him songs, belt out hymns,
translate his wonders into music!
Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs,
you who seek
God. Live a happy life!
Keep your eyes open for
God, watch for his works;
be alert for signs of his presence.
Remember the world of wonders he has made,
his miracles, and the verdicts he's rendered—
O seed of Abraham, his servant,
O child of Jacob, his chosen.

7-15 He's
God, our God,
in charge of the whole earth.
And he remembers, remembers his Covenant—
for a thousand generations he's been as good as his word.
It's the Covenant he made with Abraham,
the same oath he swore to Isaac,
The very statute he established with Jacob,
the eternal Covenant with Israel,
Namely, "I give you the land.
Canaan is your hill-country inheritance."
When they didn't count for much,
a mere handful, and strangers at that,
Wandering from country to country,
drifting from pillar to post,
He permitted no one to abuse them.
He told kings to keep their hands off:
"Don't you dare lay a hand on my anointed,

Jeremiah 31:23-32:15

23-24A Message from Israel's God-of-the-Angel-Armies: "When I've turned everything around and brought my people back, the old expressions will be heard on the streets: 'God bless you!'...'O True Home!'...'O Holy Mountain!' All Judah's people, whether in town or country, will get along just fine with each other.
25I'll refresh tired bodies;
I'll restore tired souls.

26Just then I woke up and looked around—what a pleasant and satisfying sleep!

27-28"Be ready. The time's coming"—God's Decree—"when I will plant people and animals in Israel and Judah, just as a farmer plants seed. And in the same way that earlier I relentlessly pulled up and tore down, took apart and demolished, so now I am sticking with them as they start over, building and planting.

29"When that time comes you won't hear the old proverb anymore,
Parents ate the green apples, their children got the stomachache.
30"No, each person will pay for his own sin. You eat green apples, you're the one who gets sick.

31-32"That's right. The time is coming when I will make a brand-new covenant with Israel and Judah. It won't be a repeat of the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took their hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant even though I did my part as their Master." God's Decree.

33-34"This is the brand-new covenant that I will make with Israel when the time comes. I will put my law within them—write it on their hearts!—and be their God. And they will be my people. They will no longer go around setting up schools to teach each other about God. They'll know me firsthand, the dull and the bright, the smart and the slow. I'll wipe the slate clean for each of them. I'll forget they ever sinned!" God's Decree.

If This Ordered Cosmos Ever Fell to Pieces
35God's Message, from the God who lights up the day with sun and
brightens the night with moon and stars,
Who whips the ocean into a billowy froth,
whose name is God-of-the-Angel-Armies:

36"If this ordered cosmos ever fell to pieces,
fell into chaos before me"—God's Decree—
"Then and only then might Israel fall apart
and disappear as a nation before me."

37God's Message:

"If the skies could be measured with a yardstick
and the earth explored to its core,
Then and only then would I turn my back on Israel,
disgusted with all they've done." God's Decree.

38-40"The time is coming"—it's God's Decree—"when God's city will be rebuilt, rebuilt all the way from the Citadel of Hanamel to the Corner Gate. The master plan will extend west to Gareb Hill and then around to Goath. The whole valley to the south where incinerated corpses are dumped—a death valley if there ever was one!—and all the terraced fields out to the Brook Kidron on the east as far north as the Horse Gate will be consecrated to me as a holy place.

"This city will never again be torn down or destroyed."

Jeremiah 32

Killing and Disease Are on Our Doorstep
1-5 The Message Jeremiah received from God in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah. It was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar. At that time the army of the king of Babylon was holding Jerusalem under siege. Jeremiah was shut up in jail in the royal palace. Zedekiah, king of Judah, had locked him up, complaining, "How dare you preach, saying, 'God says, I'm warning you: I will hand this city over to the king of Babylon and he will take it over. Zedekiah king of Judah will be handed over to the Chaldeans right along with the city. He will be handed over to the king of Babylon and forced to face the music. He'll be hauled off to Babylon where he'll stay until I deal with him. God's Decree. Fight against the Babylonians all you want—it won't get you anywhere.'"

6-7Jeremiah said, "God's Message came to me like this: Prepare yourself! Hanamel, your uncle Shallum's son, is on his way to see you. He is going to say, 'Buy my field in Anathoth. You have the legal right to buy it.'

8"And sure enough, just as God had said, my cousin Hanamel came to me while I was in jail and said, 'Buy my field in Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin, for you have the legal right to keep it in the family. Buy it. Take it over.' "That did it. I knew it was God's Message.

9-12"So I bought the field at Anathoth from my cousin Hanamel. I paid him seventeen silver shekels. I followed all the proper procedures: In the presence of witnesses I wrote out the bill of sale, sealed it, and weighed out the money on the scales. Then I took the deed of purchase—the sealed copy that contained the contract and its conditions and also the open copy—and gave them to Baruch son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah. All this took place in the presence of my cousin Hanamel and the witnesses who had signed the deed, as the Jews who were at the jail that day looked on.

13-15"Then, in front of all of them, I told Baruch, 'These are orders from God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel: Take these documents—both the sealed and the open deeds—and put them for safekeeping in a pottery jar. For God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel, says, "Life is going to return to normal. Homes and fields and vineyards are again going to be bought in this country."'

2 Timothy 3

Difficult Times Ahead
1-5Don't be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They'll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they're animals. Stay clear of these people.

6-9These are the kind of people who smooth-talk themselves into the homes of unstable and needy women and take advantage of them; women who, depressed by their sinfulness, take up with every new religious fad that calls itself "truth." They get exploited every time and never really learn. These men are like those old Egyptian frauds Jannes and Jambres, who challenged Moses. They were rejects from the faith, twisted in their thinking, defying truth itself. But nothing will come of these latest impostors. Everyone will see through them, just as people saw through that Egyptian hoax.

Psalm 105:1-7
Jeremiah 31:23-32:15; 2 Timothy 3:1-9

I will gather those who have been scattered. I will give them praise and honor
in every land where they were put to shame. Zephaniah 3:19

God is one; and he will justify the circumcised on the ground of faith and the
uncircumcised through that same faith. Romans 3:30

Gracious God, without you we are scattered, alone, and lost to our own devices.
With you, we find peace, a sense of purpose, and a new way of life. Increase our
faith, justify us according to you

Feel free to leave an message that you came over !

QUOTE from LYSA TERKEUST!! (from " A MESS")
I'm convinced there's a reason the first four letters of Messiah spell mess. We need Him. Only the Messiah can take our mess and turn it into a untangled message of hope, forgiveness, and ultimately love.
