over the weekend i read it and was thinking what this quote says or means to me......
I was agreeing in my thoughts with it.
How do i relate with others who suffer?
In my work with patients with Alzheimer and dementia for example.....?
When i see suffering around me........
When i suffer myself who do i run to?
Do i seek others who i can identify with..?
Another part of the quote says God gave an role to suffering people .....
and suffering gives credibility in an 'suffering world"!
The thought crossed my mind that:
" To relate with suffering to reach the ones who suffer....
To talk so to say the same language"
You need to identify with the suffering"

The best person to minister to people who suffer is Jesus Christ and we as followers of Christ must be His hands and feet in this suffering world....

Where/How do i start......? I'm struggling in an way how to "blog' and what to blog about? When i opened this blog beginning of 2009...I gave it the name as you see "My Journey". It was like an kind of "New years resolution" to put so to say "pen on paper" about the "thoughts @ directions" i get from God while i'm traveling through 'life's Journey".
I felt God wanted to learn me about himself while blogging and encountering other "christians bloggers". I tried to find my way through "blogland" and indeed learned alot and am still learning. Also i get more and more encouraged to keep on focussing on God's will and goals for me and my family's life.......
I choose to link-up with meme's who stimulate my christian growth....; foccussing on the bible through verses.......On thursday's bringing thanks to the Lord and friday's focussing on prayer for and with eachother.
For some weeks now : I am debating in my mind to find an way how to share about ; "My walk and talk" so to say with The Lord...... It felt like God wants me to share it ...and He knows the purpose....... I was debating about it because it feels strange to share those thoughts/prayers with the "outside world" ........My walk and talk!!?? I must say outside the linking-up posts i blog some about topics that came to my mind.......i believe it was on fathersday and with some verses out of the bible what made me wonder......"Life's Journey.....~ My soul find rest in God Alone~" @"WOW " DEAR FATHER God When i made those blogs i experience kind of victory over feelings of insecurity about my writings ( also not in my "native" language) and like after my "fathersdaypost" an release in my 'spirit' i was able to share and like "the Holy Spirit' could get more way in myself...... For me that i felt clearly an release of an "kind of bondage " made me think and pray more deeply ...and the same time my sister in Christ "One heart" shared about " Way of Worship" to the Lord.......
I believe that "My Walk and Talk " with The Lord.......;probably sharing my prayers and devotions of the day and my thought frame and maybe also the effect on my daily living .Must become the first priority on my blog.... It will give God's spirit more way overhere and also in myself....... To Him and him Alone i want to bring Glory....In "My Walk" ;and blogging became an part of my walk in and with Christ......and "My Talk (prayers)" to the Lord.....i want to reflect my love to Him because HE LOVED ME FIRST!
On my shelf since my teen years was always an book "God's Calling" Now i know that is the original name because i encountered it in the dutch version" Jezus Spreekt"
I got it from my "great aunt " Esselien " I can picturing her dancing or playing music or singing now or chatting with the Lord because she loved to chat....Also with me as an child....Really found memories to recall. My favorite time was to sleep with her in her "master-bed" in the afternoons or evenings chatting a long try to get her attention while she was reading or writing in her dairy or writing with her 'penpals' all over the world........ One day i recall i asked her why she reads "Jezus Spreekt" every day and she told me about the book...the history and that it inspires her especially that it where messages to 2 woman who wanted to listen to The Lord and follow.......and that is what she want also for her life....... So i began to read also in it and one day she gave me one as present..... and that was before my traveling to Europe......Along those years i have seasons of not looking in it but there are periods and days i see it and pic it up........ There is now also an companion book "God at Eventide" So today i share out of this book
My Will - Your Joy
Our Lord and our God. Lead us, we beseech Thee. Lead us and keep us.

God added another year to the life of this STRONG WOMAN.As i called her always " MY NENE DINA " She carried me around as an baby..... She wiped my tears away as an child. She laughed with me and had an listening ear for me She teached me about God. She learned me to pray She helped me with my school work She brought me to painting lessons and music lessons... She learned me to cook delicious dishes and gave me this example in her kitchen
She called me her Granddaughter. She spoke wise words to me as an teen and as an adult. She prayed for me and always says she prays for me and my family. I knew and know she has me in her heart and SO DO I !

Yesterday's blogpost made me remember that my faith was once like an Mustard seed!
Luke 17:5, 6 – The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” And the Lord said, “If you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. Many times we talk about having small faith, faith so small that it would move mountains. We’re not wrong… but God wants us to grow in our faith. God wants us to grow our faith in Him. A mustard seed is known to be one of the smallest seeds in the world, but when it grows, it grows into a huge tree, strong, with a large canopy.

See, God wants us to exercise our faith. It’ll start small, but as we walk in faith with Him everyday, it will grow. It HAS TO grow. God will not increase our faith for us. Faith has to come from within us, only by knowing how good and faithful God is. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. The more we fill ourselves with God’s Word, the stronger our faith will become, even more so when we recognize that our God is a BIG and AWESOME God who is capable of anything and everything. There came an internal talk with myself......... "This mistake you made and are making...still...." Yes Lord that is my weak spot to grow fully....to mature as an Christian to be reliable to be used........!! " In some area's you have faith in me and in other ones not...." " You love to have control still in some area's in your life..........." "Have faith....let go.......give me all your TRUST..........."
I "sapped" my thought away and go further with my day ....... Later on i came accross other sisters who are posting and linking-up and i started to be more drawn to think this more over.........
What make me as an human ( person) "walk easily" by using my common sense.....? Than to walk in Faith??........
When looking at myself ........I believe it is how my mind was formed a long those years........ What out-weighed more...to stuff my mind with along those years.....The TRUTH OF GOD or THE TRUTH OF THE WORLD?? Today i praise God that i came in contact with His Word as an child and was put on an path to become an christian......... But the impact of school,tv and all influenses of society was and is great....... During my up-bringing and life was MORE stimulated to use common sense and not to have faith..... Maybe FAITH IN MYSELF was stimulated ......and in THAT i found the clue......... I struggle and wonder frequently why i get un-comfortable in situations...... My mind....MADE ME BELIEVE that i haveNO CONTROL!!
When you can let go of the idea that it is possible to control things to manipulate situations and people..........In fact when we do that we want to become God....( but God is not manipulating but drawing us with LOVE....) Instead we need to TRUST and BELIEVE GOD and His Truth and ways.......!! I always called myself when looking back now an "head christian"....at first and than GOD touched in His Grace and Mercy one moment my heart with His LOVE and I could do nothing else than say YES LORD I CHOOSE to follow........put my trust and believe in YOU...........HELP ME because by myself i can't...........and from there FAITH started to GROW......... . MY FAITH really started as an mustard seed, and i praise God for that and His never letting go and daily leading.

I must confess that i TOTALLY forgot that fathersday is tomorrow.
I am still wondering if the date to celebrate this day is the same all over the world.....LOL
My kids did not hear anything about it on school either......
Well i guess i extend to celebrate fathersday in our house to probably next week to be honest....but i know my husband would say "Don't bother..."

I did not understand but now as a parent i can look at it differently

When i prayed/ pray about it i hear "Why it makes you angry.."??!!.........His acts are his way of showing love.... I LOVE YOU THAT MUST BE MORE THAN ENOUGH and so thus your dad !!. I am also an jealous God......."

When i hear "The Lord's Prayer song" in the language of my birthcountry " Surinamees" it touched me deeply....... This morning when looking it up it strucked me to see how an "Dutch children choir" sang this song as beautifull.......as Surinamees speaking choirs would bring it......
Like i heard an "wispering in my ear": " It doesn't matter in what language or who is singing and worshipping me.......I look at the hearts ....of who is uttering the words and i bless the persons.... and who is listening to it can experience my anointing....."
