The Twelve Days of Christmas

On the 8th day of Christmas my true love gave to me...

Eight Maids A-milking

The eight Beatitudes:
1) Blessed are the poor in spirit,
2) those who mourn,
3) the meek,
4) those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
5) the merciful, 6) the pure in heart,
7) the peacemakers,
8) those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake.
(Matthew 5:3-10)

My thought went over those beautitudes
I pray that the Lord bless me my family and loved ones.....
When i read this Jesus says to me and you  in Matthew to be MEEK ,to believe and feel blessed when we

hunger and thirst for righteousness,to be merciful, pure in heart, peacemakers,
don't mint to be persecuted for righteousness' sake.

Well in the flesh it sounds difficult to me to go through......But i hear the words..(I don't know where in the bible) " Do I said it will be easy....."

HOW CAN WE BE AND GO THROUGH ALL THESE CIRCUMSTANCES???
I guess with HIM and HIM ALONE!!

Sister Peggy who's also reflecting on those 12 days of christmas ( link to her further in this post)
Was wondering about "Why are those maids milking...."!!??

I went to think about that....and came to the conclusion that Only with "The Milk" of the Lord we can get the right attitude in our spirit and get through circumstances.....
The meaning of MILK in the bible is interesting.....

"Blessing"
"Wealth"
"Beauty"
"Truth's of God"
...........

Will leave you with verses about "Milk"  and my Dayverses at the end .....

Song of Solomon 4:11Your lips drop sweetness as the honeycomb, my bride; milk and honey are under your tongue. The fragrance of your garments is like that of Lebanon.

Song of Solomon 5:1[ Lover ] I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice. I have eaten my honeycomb and my honey; I have drunk my wine and my milk. [ Friends ] Eat, O friends, and drink; drink your fill, O lovers.

milk without money and without cost.

  5. Isaiah 60:16
    You will drink the
milk of nations and be nursed at royal breasts. Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

  6. Jeremiah 11:5
Then I will fulfill the oath I swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with
milk and honey'-the land you possess today." I answered, "Amen, LORD."

  7. Jeremiah 32:22
You gave them this land you had sworn to give their forefathers, a land flowing with
    milk and honey.
    )
  8. Lamentations 4:7
Their princes were brighter than snow and whiter than
milk, their bodies more ruddy than rubies, their appearance like sapphires.

  9. Ezekiel 20:6
On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with
milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands.
    )
  10. Ezekiel 20:15
Also with uplifted hand I swore to them in the desert that I would not bring them into the land I had given them—a land flowing with
milk and honey, most beautiful of all lands-

  11. Ezekiel 25:4
therefore I am going to give you to the people of the East as a possession. They will set up their camps and pitch their tents among you; they will eat your fruit and drink your

"In that day the mountains will drip new wine, and the hills will flow with

  13. 1 Corinthians 3:2
    I gave you
milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready.

  14. 1 Corinthians 9:7

  15. Hebrews 5:12
In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need
    milk, not solid food!

  16. Hebrews 5:13
    Anyone who lives on
milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.

  17. 1 Peter 2:2
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual

Since the wise have rejected the word of the Lord, what wisdom is in
them? Jeremiah 8:9

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one
another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms,
hymns, and spiritual songs to God. Colossians 3:16

Wisdom from on high, you have permeated the world since creation. Help

The seven swans represent the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit:
1) prophecy,
2) ministry,
3) teaching,
4) exhortation,
5) giving,
6) leading,
and
7) compassion

Prayer for the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit

Blessed Spirit of Wisdom, Help me to seek God. Make Him the center of my life and order my life to Him, so that love and harmony may reign in my soul.

Blessed Spirit of Understanding, enlighten my mind, that I may know and love the truths of faith and make them truly my own.

Blessed Spirit of Counsel, enlighten and guide me in all my ways, that I may know and do Your holy Will. Make me prudent and courageous.

Blessed Spirit of Fortitude, uphold my soul in every time of trouble or adversity. Make me loyal and confident.

Blessed Spirit of Knowledge, help me to know good from evil. Teach me to do what is right in the sight of God. Give me clear vision and firmness in decision.

Blessed Spirit of Piety, possess my heart, incline it to a true faith in You, to a holy love of You,

my God, that with my whole soul I may seek You, Who are my Father, and I find You, my best, my truest joy.

Blessed Spirit of Holy Fear, penetrate my inmost heart that I may be mindful of Your presence.
Make me fly from sin, and give me intense reverence for God and for my fellow men who are made in God’s image.
Come Holy Spirit, Creator blest! And in our souls take up Your rest; Come with Your grace and heavenly aid, To fill the hearts which you have made.
O Comforter, to you do we cry, O heavenly Gift of God Most High; O Fount of life and Fire of love, And sweet Anointing from above

I found this prayer on this website.....It's not mentioning the 7 gifts from the meaning in the song.....but it spoke to me because without those mentioned in the prayer we can't excel in my opinion in
1) prophecy,
2) ministry,
3) teaching,
4) exhortation,
5) giving,
6) leading,
and
7) compassion

let's pray this prayer on this SPECIAL day of the year New Years eve...
That God will bless us with all the Gifts of His Spirit
Amen

Our other dish with rice

Yushing pork is both an ordinary, affordable dish and a long-time classic of Sichuan cuisine. Its popularity and great taste matches that of Kong Pao chicken. Sichuan Hotel's Prince Gong's Palace branch, a restaurant known to offer authentic Sichuan cuisine, is promoting dishes made in Yushing style throughout June.
Literally, Yushing (yu xiang) means "fish fragrance". It is believed that the chef uses a number of seasoning ingredients, such as spring onion, garlic, ginger, white sugar, vinegar, yellow rice wine, and natural honey, to produce a fish fragrance in the pork slice dish. But according to Yu Jianmin, executive chef at Sichuan Fandian, when the cuisine was invented, there was actually fish in it.
Legend has it that a Sichuan granny in the early 20th century was making a jar of chili sauce when some dried fish hanging nearby accidentally fell into the same jar. The granny used the finished chili sauce to fry pork and found it tasted really good. After that the dish became famous in Sichuan.
The dish tastes sour, sweet, and slightly spicy, with a rich taste and fragrances of onion, ginger and garlic. Yu rates it as both a common and complicated dish, because making it involves a dozen seasoning ingredients.
