WFW....." My month flower.....SWORD~LILLY..."




I was scrolling around about my birthday and my birth year. I knew about birth signs,stones but never about flowers and THE GLADIOLUS  is an flower i choose frequently at the florist before...So to know this fact and the link in my mind to GODS WORD is an discovery i love and see it as an " birthday gift" of sorts......

The gladiolus is the August birth flower. These flowers look like a sword with their tall stalks, hence their being named after the gladiators. The gladiolus is a beautiful cut flower and one of the most attractive garden flowers.

What a precious gift! You already had a connection with the flowers before you even knew they were associated with your birthday. I must check out July's flowers. Hmmm.

I love the scripture! I often use that scripture about the Word of the Lord. It is our sword! Hallelujah!
