In memory of my GRAND-PARENTS

Today 16 of November is 5 years ago my grandmother went to the Lord,on the blessed age of 88 years .It was also exactly THE SAME DAY 17 years after her husband my grandfather.....went to the Lord on the blessed age of 80 years. It is an remarkable coincidence but i believe a sign from God, who knows our beginning and end to "mark" their special bound they had with eachother. The memories of there love and marriage i will keep forever in my heart!
I picture them together just as in this picture....Vibrant and healthy singing and dancing with the angels on the streets of gold!

Roses in Heaven

Beautiful red, pink, yellow and white roses,
They all say "I Love You"
The thorns on the bush remind us
That mistakes need forgiveness too.

Red roses tell of God's beauty,
That often thrills my soul.
The yellow, whispers of His Love,
Chasing away sadness, and making us whole.

The pink is for the blush in my cheeks,
When laughter chases the blues away.
The white tells of His forgiveness,
We'll share together each day.

If Roses grow in heaven,
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my loved one's arms
and tell them, they're from me.

Tell them that I love and miss
them, and when they turn to smile,
place a kiss upon their cheek
and hold them for a while.

Because remembering them is easy,
I do it every day.
But there's an ache within my heart,
that will never go away

This is beautiful, Bernice. I agree about that ache not going away. I think about my dad each and every single day and he went home with the Lord 1/27/04. My husband asked just earlier this week if it doesn't get any better when I think of him and my answer was, yes, the memories are beautiful when I think of him and they bring joy to me, but the sadness of missing him is the same. I don't think that ever changes. It's with peace, of course, especially knowing that he knew the Lord and I will see him again one day, but our hearts ache because of the absence of that person in our day to day. Soon and very soon, we will rejoice at the greatest reunion of all times. Looking forward to seeing you there my friend.

Blessings!

Feel free to leave an message that you came over !

QUOTE from LYSA TERKEUST!! (from " A MESS")
I'm convinced there's a reason the first four letters of Messiah spell mess. We need Him. Only the Messiah can take our mess and turn it into a untangled message of hope, forgiveness, and ultimately love.
