WEEKLY MEMORY VERSE ~ Math 22: 37-39

Matthew 22:37-39

And He said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.".....(NASB)

37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'(NIV)

37And He replied to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect).
38This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.
39And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself.(Amplified Bible)

37-40Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them." (MSG)

As you know i Love the MSG version....Love the Lord with ALL our Passion- Prayer and Intelligence!!

And our neighbours ( people we come accross with) as ourselfs!!

Memorizing was not hard for me....My reflection about this verse..how i work it out was hard...I don't know if i am to "hard" on myself

But i struggle in the physical realm since i can remember to give my ALL ............

Evenzo in the spiritual realm i stayed long in the place to feel Loved and that i can trust God...And i praise God for that and the healing power of His LOVE in my Life......

I had a place to go and share myself with my heavenly father......

As i said the MSG version says it right Love with ALL Passion- Prayer and Intelligence.

I had to work hard on the Passion and also the Prayer side a SOUL and HEART Job!!

And i realized along the way why ,was said that Loving God must come 1st and alongside together goes loving your neighbour!!

To Love as how God sees it...no hidden agenda's ...doing without expecting back...To Love un-selfishly...Is ONLY possible when He ....His wisdom...with His strenght etc.....is the engine/fuel to get me doing( loving)

I did it without...and got burnt-out.....and or desillusioned!!

So those thoughts went through my head........

To Love Sacrificially...To Love God with ALL that i have.

I pray for myself and for every Christian ,make me (us) a servant Lord conforming to do your will daily in the small and big things services to Him and to others..In Jesus Name i pray Amen
