I know we will both be blessed because along this blogging i see this is how God works through me and this blog "My Journey"
Todays "WFW" was an surge of me for an picture when i encountered this verse in an daily devotion book
"But the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established."
(Proverbs 4:18)
An inner voice...; to me that is "God's Spirit who lives in me" because He ( Jesus) said so when you follow me and seek me .............I will sent you my spirit to comfort, guide made myself known to you in Gods Word ......
( can't tell this moment which part of the bible it is written...)
Said "This is it ...look your life must get lighter and lighter and YOU will shine more and more.."
But the road of wrongdoing gets darker and darker—
travelers can't see a thing; they fall flat on their faces.
" Is it not like this when You look around you...when you look at your own life......?
The times you fell flat on your face...Where you on the path of righteouseness"?
That was my morning devotion time with the Lord between the morning activities......
Some hours later after some errands and enjoying the Spring weather outside...
My attention was caught by an blog on "AmazingGraceMazesMessesMiracles" sister Peggy was writing and explaining about the prayer i posted yesterday..."I Arise"......
Her blog from yesterday inspired me also to surge for this prayer on Youtube..... and i posted an part with music and the whole prayer she posted today....
"St Patrick" is not an holiday or feastday overhere so far i know.....
But the words and song i heard or read before
But always when i read i can sense God's Spirit tells me "pay attention to this...or that"!
Evenzo this time I read
The LORICA or BREASTPLATE of ST. PATRICK shares all the parts of a Catholic morning prayer, which we all could learn from also, as we put on the armor of God every day according to Ephesians 6:)
"Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness." Ephesians 6:14
The lorica as a prayer, has the elements of the act of Faith (expressing the Catholic teaching on the Trinity and on Christ); Hope (in God's protection throughout the day and throughout life, as well as in eternal salvation); and Charity (Love)(in the love expressed for God). This is a prayer of anticipation of the victory over paganism.
My thought flow......
"God you are telling me AGAIN i MUST put on EVERY DAY...Eph 6...
GIRDED MY LOINS WIT THRUTH,and having put on the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSENESS!!
This morning Lord YOU brought this last word also to my attention......RIGHTEOUSENESS !!
Lord an hour ago when walking in Your beautiful spring weather, I had an talk with my husband about what we see is happening right this moment in people we love dearly.....That they choose for the way of wrong doing and there life is getting darker and darker......and that while praying for them we feel and see an spiritual battle is going on........
They attacking us and or are hiding afraid of the confrontation with the light....YOUR WORD and WISDOM!
I read Lord what this sister is saying " This is a prayer of anticipation of the victory over paganism."
Yes Lord you confirm it father to me that the prayers we will sent up for our loved ones WILL GIVE VICTORY over paganism.......
Will draw them to the Light will protect us from fiercy darts thrown to us......
Yes i want and i MUST stay on the righteouse path....to be victorious.....To be an witness in words and acts for you Lord! You are giving me the warning/reminder today to put on the breastplate of righteousness EVERYDAY.
I must delf -in to know what this really MEANS.......!!
The blog of the sister i mentioned above started giving me the verses words and directions what to read and where to go in God's word......
I was captivated and could not let go of going on reading.....
I heard ny son bussy in the back room and the clock was ticking and telling me there are still so much minutes to go to soccer training.....LOL.....
This is real life and how God is speaking to us isn't it....??
I was brought again on an website i was planning to do the bible study but i relent in doing it........ Yes father "I know i must make time......it will not be given to me......."The Wardrobe from the King" Chapter 3 is Clothed in Righteousness.I heard ny son bussy in the back room and the clock was ticking and telling me there are still so much minutes to go to soccer training.....LOL.....
This is real life and how God is speaking to us isn't it....??
And the words "Preparing for Battle" waked me up to take this really serious!!!!
So true what they say before starting the bible study of Psalm 84
Preparing for Battle
Relationships and responsibilities crowd my mind and stir my heart. Television, newspapers, people, and possessions tempt me to focus on everything but my King. How can I escape their tyranny? How can I manifest the purity of the King while living in an unholy world? How do I maintain a sense of personal worth when my performance points to failure? In this age of abundance, how do I discern between wants and needs, between lust and genuine Spirit-inspired responses to my Father?
Quietly Jesus seems to whisper, "Seek first My kingdom and My righteousness, then I will choose for you my very highest and best. Look first at Me, then I will share with you My true perspective of the world and its treasures, of circumstances and their significance to your growth, and of people and their part in your completion. Infinitely happy are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall find complete fulfillment."
The hungry and thirsty know their need. Nothing can stop them from seeking until they find the source of life-giving sustenance. Satisfied, they yearn for more as Jesus salts their hearts and produces perpetual thirst and satisfaction. Having glimpsed His loveliness and experienced His sufficiency, they find no fulfillment apart from an ever-deepening oneness with the Fountain Himself
Our Lord is a holy God who cannot tolerate sin, yet He loves the sinner. (That's you and me apart from Him!) Only by His mercy, grace and righteousness can we enjoy the greatest gift of all - life in His holy dwelling place and the peace of His constant presence. What a privilege!
Precious, holy King, I can neither come to You, hear You, nor please You on my own. I need You every moment. My heart longs for deeper oneness with You in all that You are, do, and desire; I yearn to understand more clearly and to appropriate more fully the gift of Your righteousness. Thank YOU for leading me on Your paths of righteousness, my King and my Shepherd.
Psalm 84 (The Message)
A Korah Psalm
. 1-2 What a beautiful home, God-of-the-Angel-Armies! I've always longed to live in a place like this,
Always dreamed of a room in your house,
where I could sing for joy to God-alive!
3-4 Birds find nooks and crannies in your house,
sparrows and swallows make nests there.
They lay their eggs and raise their young,
singing their songs in the place where we worship.
God-of-the-Angel-Armies! King! God!
How blessed they are to live and sing there!
5-7 And how blessed all those in whom you live,
whose lives become roads you travel;
They wind through lonesome valleys, come upon brooks,
discover cool springs and pools brimming with rain!
God-traveled, these roads curve up the mountain, and
at the last turn—Zion! God in full view!
8-9 God-of-the-Angel-Armies, listen:
O God of Jacob, open your ears—I'm praying!
Look at our shields, glistening in the sun,
our faces, shining with your gracious anointing.
10-12 One day spent in your house, this beautiful place of worship,
beats thousands spent on Greek island beaches.
I'd rather scrub floors in the house of my God
than be honored as a guest in the palace of sin.
All sunshine and sovereign is God,
generous in gifts and glory.
He doesn't scrimp with his traveling companions.
It's smooth sailing all the way with God-of-the-Angel-Armies.
